This is one of the best video from St,Vincent , I really like the perceptive of this broad cast it really make me watch deforestation on a different level, and how governments can work with farmers to manage our forest better. That is video is really forward thinking , Thank you ,this video .. Great Job !!! .

"Where the network is not the best"
People in Appalachia are wondering how they have a network on La Soufriere but not where they live.

What is causing the rush of water down the mountain is the lack of trees with deep roots that hold the soil.
Patches of forest had been cleared for growing different Crops, including marijuana.
How will legalising marijuana help with re-forestation of the mountainside?
Trees which grow deep, strong roots need to be planted. Trees that can withstand strong winds etc. Trees that will not be cut down.
I don’t see how allowing the mountain side to be filled with marijuana plants which will be cut down and sold. I don’t see how that will prevent the landslides and prevent water rushing down to the valleys.

I would like to see a local business offer ganja like what is expressed about the Canadian company. It would not be accepted in the same way I'm sure. It's sad that people from outside seem to have more freedom in our home. It's sad that money governs so much of our lives. Let's be honest, real and true for s change. I trust God, only He is good.

It bothers me when we grasp at straws to make a point. All our clear landscape for farming or building, is deforested land from colonial times in some places but they don't just wash into the sea or whatever. The process of farming is mostly controlled so there is a balance of green areas, trees on borders, fruit trees, etc. It is to be sensible about what we do and say or we undermine our own credibility. Some forests, because of their location, should be protected, but for the right reasons. There are too many lies in this world towards a desired end. I trust God.

By the Caribbean leaders figure legalized marijuana the region will be far behind. With all the local production of marijuana the Caribbean will still import marijuana. Backward thinking

Just listen to an interview with the Minister of Agricultural and he indicated that Foreign investors are a big part of the legal cannabis production in St Vincent. I just hope they are not correct and the money can benefit the people.
