Article 4 is the guarantee that each state in the union a Republican form of government. Article 6 section 2 is the Supremacy Clause. Great video, cleared up alot, thanks.

Example. Federal law can pass a $100 per hour wage. Meaning, all states must meet that and can not go below BUT can go over correct?

Great video, but one error: You say in the video that the supremacy clause is article 4, but the notes say article VI or six. It is article VI.

Can you explain how states like Massachusetts is able to pass strict gun laws that seem to infringe our rights. Also if marijuana is federally prohibited, how are these states able to legalize marijuana?

Colorado passed that its legal for marijuana to be used as recreational use. Marijuana is still illegal on a federal law. So, does this mean that CO is in violation and can be punished?

Got a question. On Friday 6-26-15 the US Supreme court ruled that this same sex marriage is now law of the land in all 50 states. Why don't the people of each of their state vote on this? Isn't this taking the power away from the people? Why does the Supreme Court have the power and authority to do this? Isn't this unconstitutional? Does the Supremacy Clause have something to do with this ruling?

***** Thanks for responding. Another question can this kind of marriage (SSM) get overturned of banned in the future or can it be challenged? Also is not Aids or some sexual diseases come into play? reason because some states have incest laws to prohibit siblings to marrying.

you are wrong the federal government is not over the states so you need to go back to school. any federal or state law that is not in line with the Constitution then it is null and void
