Good choice. I, being a Tata owner, appreciate your choice. Good you avoided Tata and saved yourself unnecessary headaches and misery from the car and service issues. Poor mileage from Tata cars due to heavier vehicle on poor engines make it heavy on pocket. Build quality is something Tata is good at but if you are unlucky, can even get a rusty car, so there are no guarantees with Tata. Happy driving!
The kind of research this guy has done is commendable, I am surprised to see that he went through so much research that finally landed on this car as a choice , I bought glanza recently , did lot of research from my side but he went beyond and checked what issue were there with other cars . The interviewer is also asking right questions trying to help viewers understand what are the parameters you should use to measure the worth of any car.

The build quality of German cars are the best.i have polo and have kept maruti cars also so after testing both companies i am saying it. I had celerio and i have polo. Definitely people say that polo is expensive to maintain but frankly saying i didn't feel so as my celerio had issues with suspension due to many speed breakers in our area but polo is 3yrs old no suspension issues at all or any part change or ratting noise like in maruti or Hyundai cars even in brand new cars.
Polo bad part is rear space is very less , if that's not an issue then definitely you can even buy a 2nd hand 1-4yr old polo.
Driving pleasure and confidence is more in polo. But in local u won't get much mileage i get around 12 in city and on highway i got 21 , i was surprised, reset it again and got 20.5 again reset got 20.7
Yaa when I am shifting 3rd gear some tightness I feel gear shifting lightly hard when I shifting in 3rd gear
Thick metal and 6 airbags doesn't define safety and if this was the case then Carens would be safer and Triber which has relatively thin metal sheets would be unsafe
Except safety which is not known it has everything

His engine noise is concern.. diesel engine produce lot noise
