Incas is one of the few civs that can handle a full power imperial age goth. The slinger is an effective infantry counter, and after a certain mass, kamayuk trades well against infantry.

Had an Arena 2v2 against Goths yesterday, the guy had 12 barracks making halbs and Huskarls constantly. i made champions and hussars, 2 petards to open a hole in the wall and sent the hussars to raid while the champions took care of everything else. xD Goth spam is scary, but FU champions stops it easily. Also mixed in some hand cannoneers, since i was Spanish.

Goths is not as OP as the Goth flood makes people believe lol :D Also, Goths don't have the last armor upgrade. You'll lose the battle if your army composition sucks, but if you have a civ with good infantry you'll win easily. Teutons and Bulgarians for example. I was Spanish btw.
slingers do bonus damage vs huskarls that isn't negated by their high pierce armour. it's like a hand-cannon (but the bonus damage works against condottieros too)
Slingers do okay but huskarls are fast and still take quite a few hits to die since the non-bonus damage (ie regular pierce) of the slinger IS negated. Once they get on top of the slingers it's over because the bonus damage huskarls have vs archer units is crazy high.
Firstly, you streamed this video. Secondly live streams are compressed a lot, are more vulnerable to fluctuating speeds and rely on the hosts upload bandwidth which is often much smaller than download bandwidth and uploading can be more sensitive to shifts in speed and packet loss. The best way to deal with all that, and numerous other issues? Streaming at a lower resolution.
@@WhatIsSanity people like T90 or Hera can stream at a greater resolution and higher fps (twitch allows them too). some of them do, some of them don't. I don't understand why they don't stream it at a better res. Shit Im a no body on twitch and some of my streams looked cleaner than guys that do it for a living. Idk maybe they do it so they get better fps. If I was them id just build a streaming pc for ur gaming pc so u can max it out. I dont have that setup ether but if I could I would.

the problem is with the cost and time Goth can overwhelm you easily if you let them play. Goths have cheaper infantry with faster production. That is why they are op. You must be constantly at them.

@@stonem0013 they aren't sh-t strong. Their basic attack is weak, their only purpose is to take out the archers and draw away their attacks from other units. But in hand-to-hand combat, they can BARELY defeat just 1 champion

All expensive and hard to mass produce. Well, Jags and Samurai aren’t that expensive, but many times you’d be better off going champions with supplies. You can’t keep up with Goth production and cost effectiveness, but you gotta get at least a little closer. 12 barracks of Japanese champions > 4 castles of Samurai.
And while the micro has got to be hard, if you do throw one or two Samurai in there once in awhile I would want have a monk and just make sure I click on the samurai manually so that the monk doesn't go healing anybody else and I got the most of that Samurai as long as I could In that situation I would definitely want to be piggyback riding somebody else who worries about streaming the champions.
Slingers and Kamayuks combined will eat goths infantry for breakfast. Just make sure you push the ball forward though, no point in having a static battle of attrition against goth
This is not accurate haha all you need to do is mass some siege like for example 30 scorpions and 10 onagers and what the onagers miss, the scorps kill all at close range or at distance too. I actually always enjoy goth enemy way too much and killing their units from distance
Honest criticism, your video showed up on my general feed the past few days, but your thumbnail sucked and looked tacky. Eventually, I clicked on it just to kind of get rid of it, but the video was pretty lols. Not trying to be a dick, but as a genuinely positive bit of feedback, improve your thumbnails and you'll definitely get more subs.

Tectonic Knights are still the strongest melee infantry in AOE 2 , they can even KO 2 paladins because of high melee armor and high melee attack

Huskarls are actually weak castle units, but their only advantage is that they have high pierce armor stat resisting ranged attacks
