Jamaica National Service Corp (Jamaica Defence Force)

Effective May 2017, the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) introduces a new category of military service; The Jamaica National Service Corp (JNSC). The JNSC becomes the new standard route of entry to the JDF and will see JDF recruits being exposed to military and life skills training for a one year period, after which they will move on to careers in either the military or other public/private sector entities.
