There were so many jokes that people did not get. They didnt understand why I laughed a few times. I did in fact laugh out loud a few times. I enjoyed it. I love that this is a one and done. I like that this may have no sequel or anything. This was a huge win. Just straight up entertainment.
I hope that in season 2, Sauron finds a final solution to the Harfoot question. They only "wander" because they were expelled from 109 kingdoms, and for good reason.

I really liked Deadpool & Wolverine and I have been VERY critical of Disney as of late. Like it was said, this was a parody so that explains the lack of depth and narrative consistency. Even so, I found the heartfelt moments making me care. I was actually invested even though the plot was paper thin. It could have been better if Wolverine failed X23 in his timeline and she died instead of him, which is why he’s a mess. And then the payoff of them reuniting could have been way more powerful and added more depth. But still, it was a really fun movie so I’m not complaining.
We knew he was gonna come grab Deadpool's hand, but that scene gave me goosey 's. & The shirt ripping off... And of course the mask! BEST 5 mins in movie making w/in the past couple years.

You guys want comics media to be true to source material and be made by fans… but you still shit on that exact movie right in front of you. My favorite line in Deadpool & Wolverine (and this is a spoiler) was after hearing all the superheroes who've died trying to take down Cassandra Nova and Daredevil is mentioned, Deadpool tells Electra he's sorry to hear that, Electra says "It's fine." I was laughing so hard at that, having been divorced myself. The film is full of those really quick, subtle one liners. I've seen it twice and plan to see it again.
For real. That movie was bad. I guess if you jingle ENOUGH keys some people will totally ignore gaping holes in the plot, complete destruction of all stakes and ruination of characters.
They really listened to you guys when they made Deadpool/Wolverine. Let me say I love you guys, but I think you’ve been on the frontlines for too long. This movie was great. I was shocked at how much their ideology they let go of. And it was hilarious. Funniest comedy I’ve seen in years. And there was a hero’s journey/redemption story that was serious. The touch in the credit scene showing the behind the scenes of the original x-men movie showed a lot of heart and care. And that surprised me the most, that Disney could move past it’s own ego to give due respect to the Fox property they bought. If you take a month off and then go watch it again I think you’ll see what I’m saying. 8.5/10. I didn’t like being trapped in the void for so long, but I prefer that to jumping through multiverses. It was well thought out and executed. Shockingly good considering the dumpster fire Disney has emulsified with.
Of course RR will keep playing DP as long Disney pays him, he needs the money to run a football club, the transfers fees to pay, he need to upgrade the stadium, etc.
I went to Deadpool and Wolverine last night… I thought it was great! I smiled from the beginning to the end, laughed a hell of a lot! I am going again tonight with the wife… I respect the crew and their analysis on such movies, but I don’t agree. I don’t go to movies often, the last movie I went to was No Way Home. It was a great time and I enjoyed every minute of the movie, I can’t say the same thing about any movie in the last 5-6 years…
I agree, I don't think there was a single thing I disliked, and I finally got to see my favorite character, Gambit, on a big screen... Something I've wanted for 24 years. Sure it was Channing Tatum, but he actually wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be. Now, I haven't seen ANYTHING marvel related since Endgame, so I was able to enjoy this without any baggage of all the Disney shows/movies since, and I genuinely had a blast, which is really rare nowadays. Can't wait to see it again!

I have to disagree with most of them on Deadpool 3. For me its better than Deadpool 2. As for "heart", I think it haf plenty for what it is. Hell it had more heart than any MCU movie I've watched since Endgame. That includes No Way Home, which is an ok, mediocre movie, with the best parts and heart all belonging to Tobey and Andrew. As for ROP, I hate people using the excuse that they only have access to the appendices. The appendices have a lot of information. Plenty enough to build a solid show.

Generally the only movies my parents weren't ok with us watching were ones with sex scenes. Language and gore were fine. Not to mention a lot of the R rated stuff today is no worse than PG-13 stuff when I was a kid. Hell most of the best kids movies back then were dark with adult themes lol Labyrinth, Neverending Story, Dark Crystal, etc. My style is to introduce them to it and instruct them, so again just curious to the reasoning
As a person who kind of straddles the line between normie & hardcore fan, I was largely pleased with D & W, especially all the little Easter eggs and references. It was even fun to see the MCU-specific ones in Happy’s office. But I’ll grant that the plot was a bit of a mess. I’m sure at least part of that is because of the strike, but all in all, it was fun.
I loved the scene where Wolverine was tied up and lowered into a chamber to be encased in adamantium when Deadpool suddenly said, "I love you!" and Wolverine replied, "Ah, f*ck off." CAUTION: THIS MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE BEEN AN ACTUAL SCENE IN THE MOVIE. ;)

Hell it had more heart than any MCU movie I've watched since Endgame. That includes No Way Home, which is an ok, mediocre movie, with the best parts and heart all belonging to Tobey and Andrew.
As for ROP, I hate people using the excuse that they only have access to the appendices. The appendices have a lot of information. Plenty enough to build a solid show.

@@mr.joshua6818 quite possibly. To be fair with as much crap that has come out over the years, I'm similar. I'm highly critical of most any movie, especially Disney related. Even with Deadpool 3, some of the critiques they gave are some of the thibgs that sprung up for me, but then I remind myself to remember what type of movie its suppose to be
I purposely waited to watch this until after I saw the movie, and I'm glad I did, cause I really enjoyed the movie for what it was, and honestly is probably my favorite of the three, or at least tied with 1. I didn't need a crazy in depth plot, just a fun movie, and to me, it delivered in spades
Age of Apocalypse Weapon X Wolverine was one of the highlights for me.
Sorry I missed the show, we were watching Deadpool & Wolverine. "Keep my country's name out your MF mouth!" The adorable ugly dog, so cute, and the 100 Deadpool's stop shooting so Wolverine & dog pool can walk by... I was expecting more cameos though.

What usually happens is the new car smell wears off and people open their eyes and see how crap it really is. Just like with Fallout. If anything, Mauler is the most consistent of all the critics they are friends with.
they're reading the room and holding back all the negativity for the sake of not making everything miserable. the entertainment factor of a costream and a general vibe of agreement comes first before their true opinions.

Generally the only movies my parents weren't ok with us watching were ones with sex scenes. Language and gore were fine. Not to mention a lot of the R rated stuff today is no worse than PG-13 stuff when I was a kid. Hell most of the best kids movies back then were dark with adult themes lol Labyrinth, Neverending Story, Dark Crystal, etc. My style is to introduce them to it and instruct them, so again just curious to the reasoning

As a person who kind of straddles the line between normie & hardcore fan, I was largely pleased with D & W, especially all the little Easter eggs and references. It was even fun to see the MCU-specific ones in Happy’s office. But I’ll grant that the plot was a bit of a mess. I’m sure at least part of that is because of the strike, but all in all, it was fun.
I loved the scene where Wolverine was tied up and lowered into a chamber to be encased in adamantium when Deadpool suddenly said, "I love you!" and Wolverine replied, "Ah, f*ck off."
