Thank you for joining us on this crazy journey! Our family- Kate and Marius plus our five kids, have always enjoyed living a homemade life whenever possible. Moving 1000 miles north in 2017 to Northern BC, Canada upped our game even more. We live on a 34 acre homestead and get a kick out of things like raising our own meat, dairy and vegetables. Would love a real time milking vid. Also would enjoy seeing what becomes of a week’s worth of milk at your home. What’s used for drinking, yogurt, ice cream, sour cream, fresh cheese, sour cream, aged cheese, etc. I buy raw milk and some weeks struggle to use it up before it gets ‘old’. I use your DIY yogurt recipe twice a month. I make milk kefir. Yesterday, I made your dulce de leche for the first time. Whoa, that’s a hit!! I haven’t made any cheese yet-only because I haven’t ordered rennet or cultures yet. Mostly just curious how it all gets used-where it goes.

I should try the dehydrator for granola 🤔 I never thought of that but I hate opening the oven and stirring it every 10-15 minutes.

Thank so much. I love the square dehydrator. This type holds a lot of food for processing. Plus the fan is at the back so it's more evenly distributed and you don't have to shift the trays around.

It's a game changer! Hands off roasting....gotta love that! If you have a dehydrator give it a try. You will have to figure out the timing as it depends on how damp your granola is and what the ingredients are.
What milk machine do you use? I and using a surge but it doesn't hold much and is very heavy even empty I am looking to getting something else
Sorry, our machine was cobbled together by a mechanic friend from two machines and some extra parts.

Go back through her older videos. She has a whole bunch about dairy cows… milking, illness, condition assessments, medicating, etc. etc. etc. Tons of great content to learn from!
