Ok I will add a note on the "vlad isn't known for good damage" part, it was an inappropriate example as I was comparing him to kintoki who is the ceiling for many farming comps. However in that same image galatea outdamages her by about 100k who is definitely not a servant known for high damage, so my point stands.
Draco and Tiamat are the servants that reminded me of sometimes it is waifu over meta. Draco ❤️❤️

I think there's an unfortunate habit of the FGO fanbase to horribly overhype new Servants with unique classes/abilities and then complain about "power creep." Draco is very good, but she has a lot of conditionals you need to hit for her to work at maximum effectiveness, as was pointed out in this video.
We do sometimes get "power creep" like with Summer Ibuki vs. Summer Musashi, but that is generally not the norm for FGO. It was obvious in the case of Draco that the devs put a lot of thought into her.
Her append skill really good though, you got extra damage against caster which is quite big 30%. Why not bring rider? Well there's not many that can st loop, doing big damage against servant, and doing more damage against other class and murasakibu the only one with as similiar skill as her in a way.
It would just ruin the game when there are too much ultra strong characters there are still a lot of future characters that might get released and trying to overpower current servants would just make those guys irrelevant
Of course the devs would balance things out. Both Tiamat and Draco are the newly released Beasts, Both still are pretty strong but both still has a few drawbacks here and there which is reasonable
Musashi is better than ibuki tho , ibuki has 0 survavibility nor durability and as a berserker it is a big yikes
@@morsayxd Thats doesn't matter at all with Ibuki's style tho. She either hits so hard its done in 3T or you use her as support and she dies in one hit. For everything else there is Castoria and now Merlin. I mean even Musashi has the dodge and gits but its once and her 3rd skill gives her even less survivability.
@@morsayxd Musashi is arguably better as a CQ unit (and even then, it's usually only going to matter if you can't damage rush the CQ), but she's worse at everything else. Everything else happens to be around 99% of the game.

Her extra card could have also been an aoe card just like olga's one buster card. I don't think it would have been op but would have been a cool servant design
Shielder take and deal neutral damage against Beast class fyi. Honestly with the way FGO is handling Shielder class gameplay wise, I don't think we will ever see them releasing Galahad or any other servant viable for that class until they make FGO 2 unless the servant is a great farming support.

That's what really made me happy about the new servants. They're fresh and have interesting kits. With how bloated skill effects have gotten lately, especially for SSRs, I've felt like servants have gotten too samey so I'm glad that they still can innovate like this.
If there is an event like Grail font, she will be free to go wild because Grail font has a lot of seven knight servant classes

Grail Fronts tend to be doable with pretty much anyone if you try hard enough.

I just personally think that her NP effect should‘ve been universally against all 7 knight classes and not just servants because that‘s how she works in Arcade as well. Also, her cooldowns, coming from yours and Myst‘s extra servant tierlist I do fully agree that it should‘ve been 6/6/6 as well and not 7/6/7.
Other than that she‘s one of the more balanced servants we got in recent times. Not to strong nor too weak.

This very much is a case of them being overly cautious on a servant just because the class is new. We saw this with Abigail with Foreigners and how they had to buff Kiara, Lip and to a lesser extent Melt like 3 times EACH for Alter Ego debut trio. The one exception to this was Oberon and we all know how that turned out (ironically though he was broken for basically everything EXCEPT his class).
I suspect later Beast servants won't come with a laundry list of "ifs and buts" on their skills now that we've seen the class doesn't inherently break the game.
I am lacking in some 5☆ Servants in some classes in my Chaldea, I summoned Draco for some extra help, and her skills and NP kinda helps, with the Seven Knights Servants trait. I am in LB 6 now, so, I'll try to use her in bosses with some support. AC 3 is still blocked to me, since I'm not doing the event.. but, it is said that after the event, Draco will have a Saint Graph Unlock Quest, so I'm happy on using her in bosses, she is level 94, I will be very happy to have her at 100.
Yes you can unlock it after the event. However i highly suggest getting the anti roman command code for her that is in the event, it fixes her damage problem when she isn’t fighting servants.

@@amari7782 it does, for CQs or bossfights. Putting it on arts is awful, as you'd want to use arts cards _after_ NP
her 30% crit up is actually 42% with passive. 50% isn't the norm, 30% is the norm. Also 42% is used by devs because you are going to use in class advantage only not in other case. So i think it is for balance purpose.
I showed your NP1 damage comparison a days ago to the friends in gameFAQs, and they bring a lot's of valid points on why your take on that videos aren't factual:
"He did kinda go too much into the "She would lose badly against Extra Classes and Non-Servants" but:
- As a ST Servant, she has far less chances of falling into that trap than AOEs
- Unless they REALLY start throwing Extra Classes at you, Draco won't fall into that issue due to the 7 Knights being far more prevalent
- It's literally the same situation as Gilgamesh except she has a bigger fail niche than he does(Star Servants and Non-Servants vs. Non-Servants and Extra Classes)
And Plushie obviously didn't include any Anti-Roman or Anti-Dragon buffs that Draco can absolutely exploit for even higher damage than Vlad or Galatea.
Draco's biggest problem is basically those 2 but she ramps up stupid hard at NP2 and above even compared to Vlad and Galatea to the point that if I put my NP5 Vlad in the same situation as Plushie's NP5 Draco, Draco would utterly wreck his s*** in damage either way even with Interlude buffs when a Servant or her other Antis are in play."

Because let's be real, i have stumbled some of sites and never i have seen peoples overrated Draco in some extent, they even acknowledged her not being the ultimate meta units but still see her a very strong unit
Since her release, I've seen a lot of people in YT comment section arguing that she's the best ST servant in the game because of her technically double class advantage against the 7 standard classes.

I think this analysis is put together very well and brings a lot of valid points. One thing I think that's worth noting about her S2 though, while likely not as relevant to a notable portion of the player-base, is that it's pretty good for TAs or just people wanting to shuffle through their supports. The skill block allows the enemy to use all their actions on attacking, rather than using one or 2 on a skill which would prevent them from killing your support (assuming you're running taunt CEs for instance).
And while often the enemy np charge might seem like a demerit, sometimes an enemy NP-ing is the best way to cycle through some of your supports, like Castoria for instance who has a high HP pool. Survival in such comps for Draco usually isn't an issue as well, since as you've pointed out, Castoria can protect her like with S3 (even disregarding her NP), and often for CQs or boss fights, most will run her with a Castoria anyway.
Additionally, while agreed on not being a practical choice for solos, she could be fun for solos in Grail Fronts (assuming JP gets more of them)
I think you hit the nail on the head here. Although I never really expected her to be anything but a niche coverage for the seven classes so its not a big deal to me, a lot of people will and do expect way too much from her. It does not matter much to me because she is a Nero and I will NP5 a Nero and also I dont have any of the single target berserkers, but its good to temper the expectations a bit for people that overhyped her. Good take.
I'm getting Beast Nero not because of meta but because of the Summoning animation and her ascension 3. Holy moly it looks epic.
I dunno; in a game about having as many servants as you can to cover as many niches/situations as you can, it doesn't make much sense to me to compare her against something her niche is just simply *not* made for.

Vlad is pretty much the hardest hitting ST arts Servant in general scenarios 💀
Only SErice, Galatea, Luvia and Kriemhild can hit for similar numbers among the competition, and they smoke all the main class arts Servants in terms of damage.
Vlad is chaotic evil to boot so he can work with Douman somewhat, and his NP generating stars offsets his problem with zerker star weight to a degree

Well, to be fair, as a day 1 player it took me a while to associate vlad with high damage. Vlad used to be know for his spam able np, but low damage. It took him 3 upgrade to reach his current number anyway
Vlad also has received numerous upgrades over the years, Draco is new, and like most new servants they got to wait a little bit before they receive any improvements to their kits. But yeah...comparing her to Vlad is a bit unfair imo.
That 20 Stars won't do much even if you pair him with Casters unless you can put a Star Absorb of a 1000% at the bare minimum on him
@@ShiraFuyu2022 it does in conjunction with other tools. Use Xu Fu's NP, Vlad is now practically guaranteed to crit. Double 2030, same thing. You can also overcharge the amount of stars with say, Castoria's or Crane's NP. It's not enough on it's own, but it helps a lot

I guess this is closer to my take on her, though a little harsher than I would go. But I know how much Plushie values min turning/solos and hyper offensive playstyles so I get it. And it's certainly way closer to my take than the initial "OMG broken servant" take some had. I do think Draco's tankiness has a little more value than I think Plushie does as sometimes you do need to take hits, especially against AoE spammy fights. That's not meant to be a knock. We all see the game from our own perspective.
While I would agree she is better for younger accounts since there are fewer extra class servants early on, I wouldn't discount her either just because I had say Vlad or Kriemhild (and my hot take is Summer Erice is approaching one of the game's most overrated servants even after she was maybe my second most used servant during LB7 after Bazett. I do not consider her as good as Luvia for example, and she collapses against debuff immune servants). I like to have a lot of options for CQs/bosses rather than throwing my eggs into say one NP5 120 servant as the devs sometimes seem to target certain comps to counter. Anyway, I wouldn't let this discourage anyone who likes her look and is thinking about summoning her just because she's not a Vlad killer. Just keep in mind what she is. Thanks for the hot take!

I do really like her but I will say that due to her class affinity she is probably one of the more niche Servants in the game. How good she will be going forward depends entirely on what kind of enemies the devs throw at us going forward. If they decide to bombard us with extra classes like what happened in LB7, there are going to be some sad Umus sulking on the benches.
I can think of several things she is lacking that she could get in a potential future buff if they put in other servants that do what she does better, kinda like what happened with Abby. If she gets hard defense, sustain, buster and/or arts up or NP damage up she is going to become considerably more powerful.
I will also say that I think that Tamamo might work pretty well with Draco as a support. She gives sustain that benefits from Draco's heal up, all her damage buffs scale multiplicatively with what Draco already has unlike Castoria and proto Merlin who both give attack up and she can shorten some of Draco's long cooldowns in a longer fight.

Me watching this video: So this is good, this is good, this is good....just about everything is good. Oh she doesn't do ridonk damage against non servant types, and she's weak against extra classes. Hmm So she's still good all around and hasn't received any upgrades yet, which it's likely she will in the future? Sweet. Sounds like a strong servant to me!
Sure she isn't overpowered and game breaking, but honestly I think there has been maybe 5 releases that did break/alter the game. Merlin, Skadi, Castoria, Vitch, and Oberon are the game breaking servants that they added. Even crazy loopers like Spishtar, or stronk characters like Arjuna Alter don't really break the game at all. The thing that all the game breaking servants have in common is support. I don't see any primary damage dealer being overpowered beyond belief that they can handle the entire game by themselves in any scenario. Especially a servant with 0 upgrades in their kit.

@@PlushieMistress Yeah there isn't really a damage dealer in the game that is overpowered or gamebreaking imo. So in that since that is true. Though I do believe she is a good servant, and a single target to boot which is rare now adays, with them adding aoe loopers every two seconds.
Hopefully in the future they give her maybe an NP buff to help with damage. I think that is really what she is missing. But obviously she's brand new, so it will be some months.

She’s not the best, but she’s good. I think she’s a well thought out unit and I will use her where I can cause I am in love with that third ascension
Draco herself does not worry me. Its the purpose of the class what does. As we have seen many times before, DW/Lasagna would release "busted" Servants but limit them within what was considered the power ceiling at the time, only to go back on that and add something more broken later.
Like how the early AoE Berserkers had BBBAQ decks with Quick NPs and 2 of them had a stun demerit. Fast forward years later and we have Summer Ibuki.
So it becomes worrying when they add a class that is effectively an upgrade to Berserkers in most cases.
I know some folks will get upset at me saying this, but really I wish they'd kept the Arcade design, I'd have overlooked some of her flaws if so. But I'm glad people are enjoying her.

if vlad with very high np damage mod isn't the hardest hitting np damage dealer. Then, who is the stronger hitting one man. if he is average. then, most of the st arts servant hit like noodle.
perhaps that was a bad example but in that image you can see she also loses to galatea, who is definitely not known for good damage.

I'd still pull for her, just because she is a unique servant class for now at least until we get more Beast servants.

The things i wonder. Her having a Heal Amp is like her having an Empty Gun while a Skill Seal with giving enemy Charge is basically trying to put a fire out with a Kerosene. I know Supports exist but having the Supports exist to impeove her gameplay and not being her crutch would be more welcome imo

Overrated is always such a frustrating complaint. Everyone has their own standards and preferences. And honestly they tend to "rate" characters just fine according to how they feel about them.

If talking about main classes, then probably Ozy? I can't think of any main class Servant that compares besides Enkidu. Kama and KH are a bit behind due to their class holding them back, and a trash NP in King Hassan's case

@@kun2588 he only has the best damage. His skillset isn't that strong and he is extremely reliant on Vitch to carry him. His skillset is poor and suffers from bad buff uptime, with his NP and 50% charge being the main things that make him noteworthy. He has zero survival, bad NP gain, mediocre CQ utility, weak crit potential and more.
He is only the strongest blitz oriented ST buster attacked when supported by Vitch and Oberon, and even then all he provides is damage so he faces problems when the CQ in question has annoying gimmicks. He can't play into the long term at all so he has to pray that he has enough firepower to finish the fight quickly, else he is a one-and-done Servant that NPs, breaks a bar and is promptly killed leading for a backup dps to do the rest.
His main usage, and the place where he actually shines, is as a ST plug dps for 90++ or 90+ nodes when trying to do 6CE farming.
He is strong, but he isn't the best ST Servant, period

Pretty much everything about her design is mid to upper-mid. Mid kit mechanically, mid visual design, upper-mid np animation (in execution, anyways, the concept is fine). Which is disappointing for a Beast that has been teased and hyped for years and is hypothetically the ultimate culmination of one of the most glamorous, flamboyant, and (literally) extra Fate characters.
