I like how they kept the most obscure characters like Spencer and Firebrand, but took out the more iconic and important characters like Phoenix Wright and Wesker. Oh yeah and they legit snapped X-men out of existence

@@Roshea Nah. Sony has the rights to Spider-Man exclusively. Sony is benevolent and gives them access to Spider-Man in the MCU. As far as X-Men Fox has the rights to them & Fantastic Four. In my opinion they need to let them both go. X-men never comes out right and Fantastic Four killed Dr. Doom off TWICE! He’s their main stay villain…. He literally doesn’t die and is the strongest human in the MCU. It’s nonsense at this point.

The feelings I get from the character select themes.
MvC1: "Dude, what would happen if Marvel's superheroes fought Capcom characters?"
MvC2: "MAKE! IT! STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!!!!"
MvC3 (standard): "Yay! It's back, and just as I remembered it!"
MvC3 (dynamic): "Yay! It's back, and better than I remembered it!"
This theme: "Prepare for battle, guys. This could determine the fate of both our universes as we know it."
So xorrect
This theme has 0 soul to it, sounds like a generic Disney Marvel filler track in an OST
@@Roshea I hard disagree with that. There is soul to it and it definitely fits the mood of the game. Yeah, the music overall isn't that great but there ARE good tunes here and this is one of them.
@@dnmstarsi if the mood you’re going for is a plastic empty shell of a game that shares a title with some of the most iconic fighting games in history then sure.
Anyway, it’s just 1 isolated opinion. General consensus is that this game was soulless overall.
@@Roshea It's more of a belief that you're spitting as a fact than an opinion given how you said it, bud. General consensus with this tune however, is that one of the few exceptions where this is actually good than disappointing. It's honestly a little too good for this game and if it were in a better game, you'd definitely see more praise of this tune. Heck, there's more likes towards that guy praising this theme than yours that says the opposite. It's fine if you have a differing opinion but that doesn't mean we can't respond to it much like you did a year ago with the initial post. :)
Well, even if I don't think much of MVCI as a whole, the music is something I gotta give props to in some areas, like the character select theme. It takes me back to the original Marvel vs. Capcom theme a bit.
Bryon Youngblood i feel the same when i listen this theme too, and same with the first ending theme of the credits scene, reminds me a bit the credits scene from the first Marvel vs Capcom.

I personally wish they did a cinematic-style remix of the original MvC character select theme, but yeah, this is great still. I'm very content with this one.
The only bad theme for me is the MvC2 one. MAN HOW I HATE THAT ANNOYING SONG

There is, but it's the theme for the Collection gallery, and only plays there. Wasted opportunity, if you ask me.

@@dnmstarsi True, though I'd argue that one of the reasons the game bombed so hard is because it's chock full of wasted opportunities, both small and large. It had the chance to be something actually great, but poor decisions and misplaced priorities by both Capcom and Marvel screwed it over so many times that said chance vanished before it was even released.
@@DrTechnoBabel Oh, definitely. IMO there are four issues that made Infinite bad: Graphics, Music, Content and Roster. And given how Infinitely ultimately failed on those categories, IMO I feel that the missed opportunity isn't really worth mentioning or considering if the game did so poorly. And this is coming from a guy who gave the benefit of the doubt for this game before it was released.

This theme has grown on me a lot. I DEFINITELY like it more than mvc3's raver music or mvc2's retarded ost. I don't care what anybody says, MVC2's character select was the absolute worst. Fight me about it.
