I live in Florida and had the opportunity to visit Big Bloomers in September while visiting my daughter and son inlaw. The one plant I wish I had picked up was a hoya that was around $80. I can't remember the name but wish I had taken a picture of it. It was beautiful. I spent so much money at Big Bloomers and came home with boxes of plants. Their prices are the best and they have a huge variety of plants. Thank you for the video. I'm ready to go back and do some more shopping.🤩

If you ever get the chance to get to Nashville, NC, “Growin’ Green” is INSANE for rare plants - and common- and their mother plants are the kind you’d see at a botanical garden. No kidding. It’s amazing!
This had to be one of the best nurseries I've ever seen .
Ok, following Ashley's words, may I point out this. At 37:00, the only plants not explained are the Hawaiian palms, Brighamia insignis. It a critically endangered bellflower unique to Hawaii island. Secondly, Aeonium has been popular in South West US for a long time. Laura Eubanks has a video 6 years ago about her mature Aeonium Sunburst.
That greenhouse is a dream! I'd definitely travel 2 hours to go to a place like that!

I wish I had a good nursery with a nice houseplant/indoor section. The only nursery here is mostly for outdoor plants and landscaping stuff so my only real options to find plants are the big box stores like walmart/home depot etc. That place looks awesome!

I have one and it lasted longer than Caperatas😅 as easy as P. Hope and hardy too👍. Not easy to find and never seen in one in my area.

This was such fun! I get so excited right along with you. I keep wanting to reach through the screen saying "I want that one, and THAT one", and on and on". I really really want the Streptocarpus you saw, one of my absolute favorites. I need to move out there! My big box shops usually have half dead plants (and of course won't discount them), and the only professional greenhouse type places near me have prices so high! I am living vicariously through you and I love it. Please don't ever stop!!

Love love all your hoyseplants that you bought,Ficus Shiveriana is a very slow grower,I have one in my bathroom because love the humidity,water when is dry is like a normal Ficus if you have one 🤗🥰😍

The plants that you have trouble with,try with perlite and water sitting in a dish under them,it worked for me,have any problems,let me know,from New Zealand

Great video. My love for plants started years ago with succulents and cactus then I moved to a house with less light and got into foliage plants. I still have lots of succulents and cactus but mostly ones that don't need 8hrs of sunlight to stay pretty.

For what I learn from other people on CZcams, with calathea you want consistency, no need to be super humid etc... Let her acclimate to your house and she only need the constant same conditions.

I am one town over from Big Bloomers, and I have been there twice. Both times have been over Spring/Summer for my outdoor plants, and I have been wanting to get into a house plant or five. I keep seeing their house plants, succulents, and bonsai collections on my FB feed, and now I just watched your video. If I get some Christmas money, I think this is the first place to hit up!

Oh my. Grab those platycadia, the dead or sometimes called zombie plant.slow grower. I think there are 2 colors. Gets teeny, tiny yellow flowers in the summer. If you are lucky you may be able to catch some black seeds from them. That is the best stocked greenhouse i have ever seen. I am breathless along with you. Carrying my i pad around so i can keep watching. Okay now, deep breathe.

The peperomia you didn't have the name for was a peperomia kimnachii! I have one and it took FOREVER for me to find an online seller that had it in stock. Definitely one of my favorites and super easy care! Love how big that pot was. I paid over $30 for two 3 inch pots of it last year.

I live in Arizona and I’m shook at the prices vs size for some of those succulents!! That hurricane cactus and the euphorbia platyclada especially. Holy smokes. This nursery is amazing!

This video was so much fun! Really excellent, thank you. I love your trips to Big Bloomers. You made quite a haul and now I am obsessed with that Mermaid Cactus. The baby ficus you picked up will be so gorgeous when it matures. I’ll be following this plant on your channel as if I was the person who bought it. 🤣. You got that Black Pagoda Lipstick plant for a steal! So big , healthy and lush. 🥰. I have two but only because the first one I got tried to die on me. I put the struggling one outside last summer and thankfully he was able to recover and thrive. I would have picked up the Hoya Sunset, the Finlaysonii and the Variegated Hindu Rope. They all looked so healthy! 👌🪴🥰
that huernia pillansii is not prickaly... it is a stapeliad, has a gorgeous bell shaped star flower... one of my favorites... if you ever see it again, pick one up... they are very quick growers, and very rewarding...
I am more of a cactus 🌵/ succulent person. But I love the places she takes us& asks our options. She’s in NC & I’m in Fayetteville NC so I get to see what the bigger cities offer. Merry Christmas y’all

I bought a Milk Confetti plug awhile back for 60$ which was a good price at that time , it looks a lot like yours I read other’s reviews and they were happy but I’m suspect about the genetics still .Cute Silver Sword I have prop mine so many times it’s very giving and I started with one leaf 🍃
