@@chubro dont be so proud. and i suggest dont talk to chinese here in malay. they don't know our national language unlike chinese in indonesia and others south east asia. chinese here is different than others south east asia. they lived here like foreigners or we call it pendatang. they only know one or few words like sedap or makan and thats it.
Actually many people dip bread in coffee. It's up to individual taste. I used to do it when young too. But this coffeeshop is a beautiful place where different race and religion can mingle. I've travelled around the world and I can safely say Malaysia if one of the very few places you can withness this. Beautiful sight to behold.
u dip if bread is plain. normally should not dip if got butter or kaya as it will influence the taste. if u like the taste of butter + Kaya + coffee then u may dip.

For soft boiled egg, you should add some white pepper and a dash of light soy sauce, mix it together and then you can dip your bread into it or eat it just like that.

Tapai ubi is so sedap!! Best when it wrapped inside banana leaf. Also can be eaten with cendol. There is also tapai pulut which is made from glutinous rice.

yeah, I like these very much too, but it is very difficult to find nowadays.
The fermented tapioca is nice actually. You should try the fermented rice. They use a special type of yeast to ferment the rice or tapioca. If you leave the fermented rice for longer, you get rice wine which is quite like sake.
This one was very new to me but worth to try! I think I will like it soon 😋😆
Yeah prefer tapai pulut rather than tapai ubi. The latter is slightly dry.

I personally prefer tapai pulut(fermented sticky rice) more than tapai ubi(fermented tapioca) because it is sweeter.. The coffee from kopitiam is the best 👍🏽 also their Kaya jam.. Different kopitiam have different taste since they made it with their own recipe.. Some kopitiam sells their Kaya jam and coffee powder.. You can buy and have them everyday at your home.. One thing I would like to recommend to you is to put some white pepper and soy sauce in the soft boiled eggs.. It will enhanced the flavor more 😁

Correct way to eat chicken chop is to cut it to bite sizes, coat with the gravy then put into the mouth & savor them.

Somebody should teach Chu on how each food should be eaten. E.g toast with half boiled egg or chicken chop should be eaten using fork n knife. Source pour over the chicken. Then he can enjoy the food more.
