Along with being one of the most stunningly beautiful women I've ever seen with a personality and warmth to go with it Ksenia is so beyond impressive considering her mastering of seven (7) languages, being an accomplished concert pianist, having a high level degree in Economics and being, in my opinion, a superstar vocalist deserving of much more attention than she is getting! I believe she is equal if not superior to not only the top chart topping star singers in our country but in many other countries as well including of course her own. I sincerely hope that she gets all of the recognition and attention she deserves if that is what she desires. I really love how you showcase this fantastic band Jeff and how your reaction to their music clearly reveals your high regard for them. I see them as not just an out of this world cover band but perhaps one of if not the best assemblage of recording and performing musicians in the world today. Thanks again Jeff for a great channel!!! Bob in L.A.
As soon as she started singing i almost passed out. Respectfully speaking, everything about this woman is gorgeous.
At first I thought this was a cover of “IF YOU Leave Me Now”!😂😂
This vibe is very late 70s, fits right in with a Gino Vanelli-ish sound!
I fell in love with her the first time I saw her. I think it was was Beginnings or September around 2020. This is one of their older songs with the lead guitarist, also one of my favorites. I honestly think (natural beauty wise) one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Add her voice playful personality, smile, and dance and you have a big part of Leonid's draw. Throw in the horns, the other extremely talented singers, the drums, and the back story, and you have my favorite band ever. Add your syrup reactions and you have my favorite reaction channel. Light years ahead of the rest. Fabulous as always!!!!! You both have extremely bright , almost blinding futures.
Ksenia is an incredible vocalist and she is absolutely gorgeous! 🎶🥰
She is a STAR...💥.Every song is a masterpiece of sensuality...Love the orchestra and Leonid's use of them..."All the Difference in the World" is another example of Ksenia's singing ability!!😀💗👍🌹
Ksenia’s voice is so smooth, sultry, and just plain amazing…No auto tune needed!!
The Black Russian group, although they were really Russian, released this song in 1980, after their departure from Russia to the United States. Leonid's cover is quite close to the original (although better), and Ksenia sings with a range similar to that of Natasha Kapustin, who was the band's singer.
The whole package is superb....voice, beauty, style.
I hadn't heard this song prior hearing it from L&F, but it's one of my favorites! The hooks in the music, the groove and ofcourse the singing are just phenomenal! The joy I get listening to L&F, watching the joy the band gets playing and your joy in the reactions is such a treat! I'm so glad I found your channel, please keep the reactions coming!
Leonid and friends I’ve been searching next please ty for your great reactions
If the BEAUTY OF THIS HOT GAL WAS NOT ENOUGH - she has incredible talent in Vocal ability ! Brilliant as always in the GREAT Leonid & Friends wonderful musicians !!! Kudos, gentlemen, ladies - Bravo. GBjj
Ksenia's voice is amazing!
She’s gorgeous
This song really shows off Ksenia's lower register. Full, round and warm!
The structure and chord progressions are very musical and reminiscent of the great Gino Vannelli. I love how this song highlights Ksenia's lower register. Truly lovely!
Her voice is incredible ❤ and the band amazing as always. Like you Jeff I need to find the original 😎
Bless her, she makes that vocal work look easy. In reality if you’re not dead accurate with proper pitch, that song becomes incredibly difficult.
Pitch corrected
@@elbowstancenow1519 NOPE……… Not with her.
There actually are professional singers who understand correct pitch. She’s one of them.
I can't imagine anybody on the planet singing this song any better than Kensia. OMG
Ksenia could sing a mixed-up phone book and sound amazing.! !
Do Speck of Dust!❤
Leonid and Friends ALWAYS nails it! They are the BEST band in the world.
I've told her many times that I love her rendition of this song, but she doesn't sing it on tour anymore.
Very brief history of The Black Russian : they became the first recording artist from the Soviet Union to be signed to a major American record label, in this case, Motown Records. Their sole album, Black Russian came out in 1980 on Motown Records - evidently the label had decided that there was no reason to segregate their white acts any longer.
Band members in Black Russian were Serge Kapustin and Natasha Kapustin, a married couple, along with Natasha’s brother Vladimir Shneider. The two Shneiders were the children of folk musicians and had been trained as classical pianists. Although identified as Russian, they were actually born in Latvia, a separate country now. In 1973 at an underground rock gathering at Moscow University, Natasha Shneider met Serge Kapustin, the son of a radio broadcaster; and he joined her in the Soviet orchestra where she was employed. The three began making plans to emigrate to America as early as May of that year.
Frequently using the name "Natasha Detente" she appeared in a couple of movies and even a few episodes of Miami Vice and Hill Street Blues. By 1987, Natasha was married to musician Alain Johannes, and together they formed the rock band Eleven, going on to produce, collaborate and tour with artists such as Gwen Stefani, Chris Cornell, and Queens of the Stone Age. Natasha also composed, produced and performed the theme song to 2004's Catwoman. Sadly, Natasha passed away in 2008 after battling lung cancer.
Great comment, thank you!
Ksenia. My god. Help me please. Wow
😂🤣😂
Thanks, Jeff. Love the velvet groove in this one. Here's the original Black Russian song from 1980. czcams.com/video/pKRv-G0ZUBU/video.html
I'm a new listener and love your professional analysis reaction. Have you given a reaction to "I'm a man" by Chicago. Cover by Leonidas and friends. Would love to see your analysis!
Scheduled for April 15th
I wonder if it was common for Russian bands to write and perform songs in English.
No disrespect to the Black Russian version but Ksenia’s vocal is superior as is the instrumentation.
