I really like how the Tongans looked uneasy before the 1s went up. Jacob looked like an absolute monster here, and he hasn't even shown what he can do in the ring. His triple springboard moonsault off the middle of the rope is a work of art.

Having to watch Hamphlett and Wilborn all week have really made me appreciate Phil and Garreth. I would even prefer these two on the weekdays if possible. They aren’t as bias and they don’t force stupid joke sayings down your throat like Wilborn
I hate to say it but I agree. At least we had Andy Murray to curtail some of Wilborne's dumber gimmicks but Hamphlett just indulges all of them and it makes the weekday show almost unwatchable for me. I've been putting it on 2x speed every time I see them together. It's the same on Sundays.

That's never going to happen. The Saturday news is the one day when the most people are free and able to watch and this duo still gets the fewest views of the week. If they ever paid attention to their view counts, the news team would ALWAYS be Adam and Phil. Gareth could put a statue to sleep. Hamflett isn't bad, but they don't have the right person to pair with him.

I think they'll save Drew vs CM Punk for WrestleMania - they can easily stall a match between the two by saying CM Punk isn't cleared to wrestle, or if he is cleared that he gets "injured" again.
Its just looking like there isn't room on the SummerSlam card for the two - it should normally have 8 or 9 matches and so far its looking like:
#1 Gunther's King of the Ring title match
#2 Nia Jax's Queen of the Ring title match
#3 LA Knight vs Logan Paul
#4 Slim Jim Battle Royal
#5 Cody vs Solo, or Cody, Randy, Kevin vs Solo and Guerillas of Destiny
WWE will almost certainly do 3 women's matches on the card...
#6 Liv Morgan title match (possibly against Rhea Ripley if she is ready)
#7 Women's Tag Match - small chance it will be the tag team champs, more likely a Fatal Four Way Number One Contender's Match
And then they will probably put aside one match spot for an Uncle Howdy skit/promo, but not an actual match

If they go with 8 matches then the card is full... if they go with 9 matches then they only have one more spot and that'll probably go to something where WWE can showcase how multicultural it is, so more than likely something involving the Latino wrestlers and/or the African American wrestlers.
And the countdown clock to Jacob throwing Solo into his shadow barely started ticking. Fully expect Solo to betray Jacob before Roman comes back. Cuz making Jacob a Solo lackey is not the way to go.

I assume it was because he got too close to the commentators desk as for those of u who dont know the desk as well is mic'd so that when u smash through the table it makes a big BOOM.

I like some of AEW, but some of the people being force fed to us just turns me away from the product. I know the same could be said about WWE, but I feel as if WWE is red hot with the presentation and story telling atm. I'm glad there is an alternative to WWE, but I'll stick to catching highlights and watching specific matches I'm interested in.

Roman didn't stand out either. Roman was the hardwork of Vince McMahon ruthlessly pushing Roman over everybody else. Vince even got The Rock to raise Roman's hand after he won the Rumble just so that Roman with the help of Rocky could get over, Roman needed a WrestleMania win against the Undertaker to help get over.
Roman was the lab test, got handed everything to him yet still took 10 years to finally shine. These new bloodline members arrived this year but quickly found their groove.

As much as AEW wants to be the "creative freedom" place they need to switch things up instead of the random match thrown out on a weekday with no build. I'm not saying AEW is bad but the product has declined over the years because the new product shine has diminished, they keep just doing the here is a big name wrestler vs big name wrestler matches with no actual build to the match or advertising to build the match.

I think a New way for ratings need to be put in to place. I have not had traditional cable for over 15 yrs. I've been utilizing streaming services. What I am getting at, Nielson Ratings are only a small part of the viewership. Need to include streaming numbers to make it accurate. Have a Great Day, Gentlemen.
TV networks care about Nielsen ratings only. They want to know how many people are willing to watch the show live because the people who record it or watch replays skip the advertisements.
