Imagine producing for 4 years and not know what increasing the gain does ..
• Turn the trim up completely.
• Turn the out knob about 20%.
• Boosts the gain by about 7%.
• EQ knob about 38%.
Don't forget there are no rules in music. Try changing the values, and find a setting that's right for your project.

Is there a way you can save all the settings for the 808 you are using so it just loads straight up everytime with those settings.
yeah click on the drop down menu on the top left of the sampler, and press "save channel state"
or you can export it and save it as a diff 808
Record it into Edison and then drag it into your little thingy with your sounds and save it as a sample and name it what u want

How can I soft clip it with lower db? (I set my 808 around -9db and if I use a limiter on the master to raise the volume and put a soft clipper after it, it doesn't hit that hard and I don't understand it because when I started using this technique it was hella hard but now it isn't)
