    Most houses are in the hands of corporations and banks not home owners the only people building new anything are big developers 🧐

    Corporations buy the houses, and people pay outrageous rents because there is no housing that they can afford because corporations artificially inflated housing prices. They pay a fortune in rent so they cannot save to buy a home and the corporations are not selling them anyways.
