▶ The Unit | 더 유닛 - Ep.13
: This episode of The Unit is titled, ‘What I Am Made Of’. Position Battle to decide the best performer of each position begins and everyone works hard to present their talent for 30 seconds to become the last one standing. After that, the performers are visited by the mentors and get to take courage and comfort from the mentors' advice and by opening up about themselves. Meanwhile, Park Narae and Kim Jimin visit The Unit as hosts of the program, 'Crying Fist', to help them with unresolved feelings.

Hanguyl's story really made me cry. I still can't and never will understand how a mother or father could abandon their child. I'm happy tho he found such a nice family. They seem to support him and it looks like they really love him, just like he does too :)

@@lavoshakern true! I mean, i know someone who cried so much because she didn't want to part with her baby. She finally gave him up for adoption since she knew she couldn't take good care of him. It was hard on her. Thankfully though, she still sees her son every now and then

This show I don't think helped them them the boost they were looking for at the time (cough cough because almost all of them didn't get screentime) but I think it def helped them find confidence.

I don't really like it when rappers just rap through lowering their voices or making their voices very high or by creating a bad accent just for the sake of it. There are pro idols like that right now and I can't stand rap like that, personally speaking. I consider great rappers to be idols like G-Dragon, Jooheon from Monsta X, Bobby from IKON, P.O. from Block B, or BewhY. They add melody to their rapping and have unique rapping voices instead of just useless changes to their voices.
I just checked them out. They're not bad, actually.

Suga used to be an underground rapper, not anymore. I think J-Hope does have an amazing rapping voice. It's surprising that he auditioned to be a singer and ended up being an awesome rapper. His rapping voice has a lot of life to it. It's a little bit exaggerated for my personal taste most of the times, though.

i initially watched The Unit to see my favorite idols try their hardest to regain their dream of being idols. But i left thinking "i love Jo Hyunah so much". When she ate dinner with all the girls, it seemed so natural and like they were truly bonding eventhough she's a mentor, and i really admire that about her. She's professional but also knows how to make people feel assured and comfortable! Plus it took me a while to spot her since she blended in so well lol
