Couple things real quick. I’m a professional pump-track builder. And for one, if your using that big of a bike it would help to space the rollers, and make them less peaky. Then I would make your berms a little steeper. Also a bike tip, put your seat down as low as it’ll go, it helps a ton on a track. It’s totally possible to make a rad track with the dirt you have sitting right there. Normally the only time you should need dirt brought in is if your working with shale, organic, or super sandy soils. Keep up the build though, it’s awesome to have a pumptrack in the backyard.

just some advice, your rollers are to short and high, make them longer and more spaced apart, you will be able to pick up loads more speed

Thanks for the tip! That was one of my first attempts at building a pumptrack, let alone rollers. I will definitely have to build another set using your advice.

Love seeing what can be done with just basic tools and a bit of effort! It's a bit demotivating when other "DIY" videos start with a truckload of dirt, a crew of dudes, and a plate compactor...

Cool, it reminds me of a bmx track my friends and I made as a kid back in the 1980's.

I would say total working time of around 30hrs or so. I did this in a few stages and worked on it here and there over the course of 2 months.

This dirt was a tad bit sandy. Quite a few small rocks mixed in as well. Handles water no problem.
