भारत को भी चाहिए कि रूस के इंजन हो या अमेरिकी इंजन हो ,उनको रिवर्सं इंजिनियरिंग के तहत जानने की कोशिश करें कि आखिर उनकी गलती कहां पर है। फिर उस गलती को ठीक कर फिर से कोशिश करें।हम नहीं चाहते कि चीन की तरह रिवर्स इंजीनियरिंग कर रुस की इंजन की तरह इंजन बना कर अपना फाइटर जेट बनाएं।पर जब अमेरिका,और युरोपीयन देश भारत को इंजन बनाने की टेक्नोलॉजी बेचने को तैयार नहीं तो क्या किया जाए।
आनेवाले दिनोमे स्पीड ड्रोन एंजिनस का ज़माना होगा जिसमें हमारे कावेरी एंजिन लग्सक्ते हैं पर थोड़ा बदलाव ज़रूरी हैं।
मुझे लगता है, बार बार news सुन ने से हमने कावेरी प्रोजेक्ट मे मिनिमम 110 से 130 nm की रेंज प्राप्त कर ली होगी l अब काम हार्ड मेटल ओर मॅक्सीमम लाईफ , सह durability पे चल रहा होगा l ओर भारतीय फेवरीट सवाल जैसे, किताना देती है l

Aero Engine is a complex engineering. If a consortium of public and Pvt defence Companies and IIT should come together can be possible. Our scientists are capable to do it. Indian SME industries should participate in metrology field. Such complex Eco system should be developed in India.
Our dependency on foreign companies should be less.

In 1960, INDIA made its First Jet aircraft, HF - 24 and during the same time Passage aircraft AERO-748 was made by 4 Base Repair depot at Kanpur. But there was no KICK BACK and Congress Govt of that time did not encourage such innovation as they did not get any kick back.

Making a jet engine is a piece of cake.
It should not take more than 1 year to make it. The problem with India is that it's technological centers are not coordinated and cohesive.
It takes only 1 year.
In due course of time, India will produce the best engine, more funding and test facility required
Not if DRDO/GTRE/HAL are involved. HAL has at best done a licensed manufacturing aka assembly job. It has repeatedly botched up Tejas program. Now even AMCA is running into delays.
India still imports bullets from UK and USA. ?

What does this video portray, nothing? China and India started engine development program almost at the same time. China succeeded in developing engines while DRDO/GTRE languished. Tejas has ran into long delays and still not fully combat ready for the modern warfare. Government should fund private sector to develop weapons. Companies like Kalyani and L&T have done decent job in delivering ahead of schedule unlike the public-sector defense PSUs. HAL is also notorious in delays.
Sir India must involve ISRO for making engine.
It's possible if the present leadership governing the project development is given direct competition .Three different groups need to be set up to offset politics, and corruption, and offset incompetence.

DRDO/ADA/GTRE etc. Must hold the full detailed Brain Storming Sessions in all the IITs/IISCs and leading Tech Institutes, Colleges to ignite and invite the innovative and out of box solutions, suggestions to deal with the all the challenging complexities, time leg and financial constraints with huge Rewards on the offer. Oceanfull of Young talent shall definitely produce the required geniuses and gems.
