Upon carefully analyzing one can get around with this doubt of Brahman & world it is like:
As Swami ji Already Explained very well:
Brahman is Sat i.e Existence Absolute, Chit i.e Consciousness absolute (Consciousness in itself, not the chida-bahas), Ananda i.e Bliss Absolute Because the source of bliss or happiness is Brahman only or more precisely Brahman is Bliss itself .
Here Brahman is none other than real you, Therefore Source of Bliss is you only we mistake it as the Object as source of bliss, How we do this mistake?
We do it every-time, you wish for things(objects) when obtained, you become Happy, Swami ji explained very beautifully by saying: "It is particular state of mind", Now we know exactly, how is it particular state.
Whole world Extracts it's existence from Existence absolute, i.e Sat, Borrows Awareness from Awareness Absolute i.e Chit I.e Everything is Extracted and Borrowed from the Brahman which is none Other than _Your_ real nature.
& Bliss is always in you, it is not the object therefore Brahman i.e The real you is Also Bliss Absolute.
so, this explains very well, why on realizing, you get the infinite bliss & Freedom(From objects-form Relationship).
The only example of Rope mistaken for snake is enough to Explain or Prove Advaita Vedanata...(in case if one is getting confused with multiple examples)
We say Duality exists(b/c of our ignorance) But Gaudapadacharya says:
"Whatever is created will surely be destroyed No Doubt but if it is _Maya_ at first place how there is duality by any chance? therefore Non-duality is Parama-artha"
    How Maya?
    One example Owns it all:
When you realize that you misunderstood Rope as Snake, you come to know that, there was no Snake At all it was rope all the time therefore Duality is Just Advidya(ignorance), Mistaking Brahman as World with Plurality is Just Advidya(ignorance), Maya(Mithya).
    Similarly during our whole life,
We keep on mistaking/misunderstanding Rope as Snake, Garland ETC but never try see it as rope, the goal is to see Rope as Rope only not the snake or Garland.
This can be said as, "One Formula to Explain it all(everything, universe ETC)" :D

+Gurender Singh , i have a small question: if consiouness reflects in all beings, then all minds should work in the same way, such that there should not be any difference, but there is a suttle body called the intellect, which is different in all beings, they say "buddi karmanusara" , need to read more on brahma sutra bashyam , for this... does laws of karma applies also in this cosmic reality?

    • @Mrlocal2011
      @Mrlocal2011 Před 8 lety +4

+bharath kumar You are on Brahma Sutra bashyam already ? haha nice.. yes now the questions & thank you for giving me opportunity to discuss.
"if consciousness reflects in all beings, then all minds should work in the same way,"
No, The nature of working of being does not depends upon Consciousness, For, Consciousness has No Nature.
The Srutis(text,Upanishads) for above statement's support says " That highest is Nirakara(Formless), Ajam(Never-born),Unique, Withoutparts, No Vak(Speech) can reach him, No sense organs can reach him, No Thought can reach him"
Therefore he is in total stable state, i.e he never was affected at first place, he is so to say, Nature-Less.
so, this clears your question, why all beings are not the same, the difference lies in The Karmas, The mind but same Chaitanyam Illumines all.
      The example in it's support:
As swami ji use to explain, there are multiple pots with water in them but same sun above, we mistake the sun for little reflections in pots, i.e number of pots = number of little sun's image(reflection) in them so, the truth is, it is same sun shining above but different reflections, hope it clears it all :)
      Next:
"but there is a suttle body called the intellect, which is different in all beings, they say "buddi karmanusara" , need to read more on brahma sutra bashyam , for this... does laws of karma applies also in this cosmic reality?"
Yes, there is Subtle body called Sukshma Sharira which covers 2 koshas(coverings) of your body, viz Mind, Intellect.
Now, what decides how a particular Sukshma Sharira will behave ? The karmas, the karma chakar decides everything, do good, receive good, do bad, receive bad but reject receiving = Mukti.
How it all Started? it was never started, ananta, infinite cycles of death & birth till one starts learning vedanata, As swami ji beautifully explains:
"When your past karmas are too good, you then come to vedanata class" haha.. yes that's how it works..
      Now one extra question:
"Why this all differences at first place?"
Answer - According to Advatia, Ignorance is the sole reason when washed by highest knowledge, all becomes one since ignorance which is dividing vanishes.
      it will be like:
Turning ON the lights in room to see a pot which was always there regardless of light's presence or Darkness.
      Hope this helps.
      Thank you.

Dear Swamiji, I read in Yog Vasistha that universe is inside the mind. Is it true? Here's the relevant verse:
"This world-appearance abides in the mind, even as there is space within the pot; if the pot is broken, the illusory division of space vanishes; and if the mind ceases to be, the concept of a world within the mind also ceases to be. "

When you say "borrowed from Brahman..." are you saying we mistake these properties in the world around us as belonging to the objects themselves - rather than seeing these properties as belonging to Brahman alone ? Does this not imply these attributes to Brahman ? Where is the error in this analysis ?

Swamiji's lectures are very helpful to all the seekers.
    Some pointers _
sat, chit ananda ( not separate from each other) constitute Brahman. Name and form are the world. Again name and form are not separate from brahman. If you remove 'satchit' there is no name and form. If you remove wood there is no table.
