so many things!! first and last- Janet is everything!! she truly loves dance and dancers and is one of the kids! she doesn't just use dancers and dancers to make her look better like some other artists do. all her addlibs are what dancers say to each other when they are hitting a step and i love that Janet gives her dancers time to shine and says their names and gives them all props. very few IF ANY other artist really do that the way she does. it just makes me so happy!

I just went to Amazon to see if I could cop that DVD with all the Damita Jo videos and The Velvet Rope tour (the one she put Usher on) which was DEFINITIVE in terms of the woman Janet has grown into today, with HER OWN DIAMONDS and everything--PLUSH.
I know these vocals are pre recorded (she's singing live when she has a hand mic) but she still recorded them live at some point and I'm so proud of how good she sounds. Her voice is so much stronger than it was 5-10 years ago.
+Brown Royal it would be really cool if she does but I just don't think so if you compare the volume of her speaking vs her singing. She dances too much (not here but at other parts of the show) to sing live 100% and still sound good. I went to the show lol.
She always sings live. There is a background track with lowered vocals in volume JUST incase she can't hit notes due to excessive dancing of her ass all the way off. A lot of entertainers don't work hard enough not to have an excuse to not song live, unlike Janet.

I don't like the two little girls dancing, IDK, I just don't feel them. They look so skinny and weak to be dancing on a stage, even tho they have great skills, but not to be there.
