Mine was a "65" and baby blue too, with union jack sidepanels, and a luggage rack on the back...cost me 25 squid of me mate dave...I still have the original green folding logbook somewhere !!!
i brought one of these in 2005 for 500 quid , moted and roded it about for the summer , was going to give it to my girlfriend, but she got a vespa smallframe. so i sold it for 650 ! what a fool , should of just put it in the shed , and left it .......... lovely little scoot..
Hi i also ride vespa scooter of my grandpa 1998 model and yesterday i was riding scooter and whenever i throttle it up the scooter starts to sputtering out and sometimes brokedown on road and i again kickstart it after brokedown it backfires a lot and at that time i got to know that i have to kick it a lot and i did it also till my punjabi jutti (indian bellerina footwear) breaks and then pushstart it but flunged there...At that moment i pushed it to my village and at home kickstart it constantly for 5 minutes but scooter refuse to start only backfires ...My elder sister also tried to start it but flunged....what could be the reason for this behaviour of scooter? Sometimes it is tough for ladies to start an old scooter
I want another Innocenti Starstream, I only had mine for about a year, back in 1981-82, I sold it before getting a Vespa 50 Special in 1983, though I did buy an LD with the money and swapped that to get hold of a Serveta Jet 200, my daily ride from the age of seventeen. How much do they fetch, go for now, pricewise ?? Mine cost £25, and I threw about £35 at it on a new headlamp and new silencer from SGT Scooters South Wimbledon, I think that was the name of the place.
In 1984, I rode a J Cento 100, on a UK Scooter Rally, 790 mile round trip over a weekend, one puncture, and a snapped gear cable. Great memories.

You can get a nice condition one for around £2,000 now in the UK. You do see them going for over £4,000 but that's a rip off.
