I honestly am loving it- I would say if I wasn't but it's an amazing option for people who want to work with a laser but don't want the astronomical price point!
Hi Laura, since you cannot cut clear acrylic with the Glowforge Aura, can you etch clear acrylic?
I saw the limitation on the file size for Aura without a premium subscription. How has it worked out for you so far?
I'm currently on the premium trial so I haven't experienced that limitation yet, but I'll keep you posted!
I wonder if you can engrave pencils with the new Aura?
Yes. I’ve seen a few people on Facebook do pencils.
Can the glow forge cut all same materials that cricut can? Or do you need both?
Most materials, yes, but Vinyl is a no-no in Glowforge
It can do everything a cricut can but then also has additional capabilities because it's a laser!
So it is a diode laser or a co2 laser? What is the power?
It's a diode laser - looks to be 6watt
Oh well no clear acrylic deal breaker. Sad guess no Lazer cutter for me
