Garòs is a population entity in the municipality of Naut Aran , in the Arties and Garòs third of the Aran Valley . In 2019 it had 132 inhabitants. In the center of the historic center, the parish church of San Julián de Garós stands out, of Romanesque origin , thoroughly reformed in the 15th century. The bell tower is from 1619 and is so wide that it looks like a defense tower, and it preserves an interesting carved Christ, a Gothic image of the Virgin and a silver processional cross.
Casarilh is a town in the Aran Valley that is part of the municipality of Vielha e Mijaran . Together with Escunhau it forms the decentralized municipal entity of Escunhau and Casarilh . It is a monument protected as Catalan Architectural Heritage. The village of Casarilh is located on the left bank of the Garonne, at the eastern end of the municipality, at an altitude of 1050 m.
Escuñau is located on the left bank of the Garonne, at an altitude of 1,049 m. Until 1970 it was an independent municipality and its term included, in addition, the towns of Casarill and Betrén and the unpopulated area of Castell. Together with the neighboring town of Casarilh it forms the decentralized municipal entity of Escuñau and Casarill.
Betrén is a town in the municipality of Viella y Medio Arán that has 562 inhabitants, 2 located in the third of Castièro in the Valle de Arán region in the province of Lleida ( Spanish Pyrenees ), forms a decentralized municipal entity.
