My 4 year old grandson loves watching you with me after he gets home from school. Everyday he will ask if Miss Becky has a video😂
Tell him I said hi! That is so cute :)
My 4 year old son is the same way! Been watching since he was born and I was home breastfeeding. ❤
@@rachelt761 I honestly think it’s her calm voice. He just loves watching her and needs a snack doing it. lol
Oh my goodness! Same my 3 & 4 year come home and yelling mom it’s Becky! Hi Becky! 😩😂🥹
The nice thing about desserts you make for yourself, is you can freeze in slices to pull out at anytime when needing a treat for Josh and yourself. Yum! 😊
That's a great idea!
This is exactly what I do. I make a short bread crust, this cheese cake layer then fresh raspberries, peaches...whatever abs top will a pulverized toasted walnut oat struesal. Freeze in squares so darn good
I will definately try to make this Chocolate Cheesecake,Hope it turns out! Enjoy your recipes and videos Becky!!❤😊
Whew! I thought for a second there you were chopping the parsley to put on the cake. You had just shown the cake, then said I'm going to chop some parsley to put on top. Glad I was mistaken.
@@nancymorgen1640me, too!😂
What I love most about your channel is it looks exactly like our own homemade cooking and not some glossy picture perfect meal. My daughter is getting married next year and I introduced you to her and my 2 daughter-in-laws. Finding yourself in charge of your own kitchen and been responsible for providing nutritious tasty meals is daunting. Cooking lessons in schools is bad here in the UK it didn't used to be. I have taught 6 different girls how to bake, cook meals from scrap. How to make jam, bread, chutney and homemade confectionary. I also taught all 4 of my sons to do the same.
So to see a young lady like yourself doing what you do and enjoying it is a blessing and motivation so from all of us in my family in England. Thank you for just been yourself. I also love your mom
Wow, that’s amazing that you taught all those you n people to cook! Well done!
We used to have home economics. 1 semester of cooking and 1 for sewing. Those courses were eliminated long ago. I learned to cook by watching and helping my mom. She never did sewing. I taught myself when I was an adult. Have a great day, Debbie Lavigne Las Vegas.
@@robertlavigne6560 I loved Home Economics class back in the day. They should have it again but for a whole year with one quarter for cooking, one for sewing, one for finances and one for making things (I.e. a “shop” class like hammering, nailing etc).
I just joined your channel today and I have already watched 4 of your videos. I am in awe of your cooking skills.
@@Hotintrigue Becky is amazing!
Quick tip I learned years ago, use an oven bag under cheesecake pan. Simple, easy and no leaks ❤
Wow becky!!! Youre really pumping out the content and i love it!
My son, Lincoln, and I have been watching your videos his entire life. He turns 5 in January and the only reason I can feed my family is because of you.
We have canned our own jelly together and he has learned to add different spices to his eggs or when we cook dinner. He likes salt, pepper and garlic powder the most right now.
I took a Wilton cake decorating class a LONG time ago. The biggest tip we had (besides putting strips of waxed paper under the cake, similar to what you did with parchment) was to freeze our cakes prior to frosting. Not only will your cakes be more moist by freezing them, you can easily brush away any crumbs to keep them from getting spread around the cake with your frosting. The class lasted 6 weeks. My co-workers always loved whatever fancy cake I left in the lunch room the next day.
Beckie, you need to ask Santa for a revolving cake stand. Makes frosting the cake much easier. 🎅
You, Becky, are such a pleasantly nice young lady and I really enjoy watching your videos!
This is a wonderful dinner and dessert for you and your love.❤
Hi Becky. For your roasted carrots, just add about three tbsp of grated Parmesan to your spices and coat the entire spice mixture and the Parmesan at the same time with the oil. Then lay out the carrots like you did with the carrots touching as little as possible. Omg. To die for. I use the same recipe using all root veg for variety. OMG IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!
You might consider a few beds of cover crops for the chickens. Also wanted to mention that I unintentionally had German chamomile as a ground cover in my yard for a few years which was both beautiful and useful. Then I got chickens and they ate it all every year til it stopped coming up. They really enjoyed it. I would never put it in one of your beds, but maybe fill-in around your berry bushes. Mine grew with blackberries.
Becky I love your videos!!! I’m watching you put the cake together and frost it thinking to myself that looks like a giant Oreo! It looks delicious as always
You should use the offset spatula the other way! It will be much easier to frost the cake! Looks like an incredible meal! Thank you!
Always guaranteed to learn something, find a new great recipe and have a good time with you in your kitchen. Thanks Becky!
Becky you are so beautiful inside and out. Your care for your family and friends is extraordinary. God bless you and your family.
The “Becky Eyes” seal of approval is all I need to want to try ALL these recipes. ❤
I say it a lot but I have to say it again… you make me feel so lazyyy lol you’re so so productive it’s so inspiring! I can’t imagine how tired you and your feet must be. Thank you for your dedication Becky!
Thanks for the videos I can watch with my 4 yr old!! She loves watching "Miss Becky" videos!! ❤️
That is awesome! Tell her I said hi!
Goodness, Becky! Way to make your family feel special! ❤❤❤
My Mom (85 yrs young!) always says, "when in doubt, throw it out!"
Haha I like that! ❤
I would tend to agree, especially with poultry, great recipes Becky as per usual :)
Take a shot every time Becky says “incredible” in this video. You will be wasted in 5 minutes! 😂😂😂
Becky those recipes look delicious and it is amazing how you keep your property so neat, the garden and yard looks fantastic.
As usual Becky I am sitting here with my mouth 👄 watering! If we did have smelavision I would have to be heading your direction! Thank you so very much for sharing your videos, I appreciate your help with recipes and the effort you take and experience you have and appreciate your honesty about how things go wrong sometimes! ❤👍👍
Can't wait to make this Chocolate Cheesecake for Christmas.
I hope you have cake pans on your Christmas list!! 🎄🎄🎄
It's incredible!
Becky. I am so glad you’re a “scrapper” and try to get everything out of your bowls and pans. It drives me crazy to watch others cook and they leave too much in the pan! I just found your channel and am “binging” your videos and am thoroughly enjoying them.
I grew up in a rural southern town and we did not have many "convenience" items. However, we always had Campbell's soups. One of the most satisfying dishes my mom ever made was chicken breast wrapped in bacon and baked in a casserole dish with cream of mushroom soup and milk. I believe it was called Chicken Devine. The bacon and chicken were so flavorful. This was one of the first meals I made on my own, usually served with rice. I would love to try this with healthier ingredients, like homemade cream of mushroom soup, and maybe even stuff the chicken as you did. Cooking the chicken in the liquid made it so tender. It was delicious! Thank you for this reminder with your similar chicken dish. I always love your videos.
Becky, you have the most loving heart for everyone but the love you and Josh have for each other is so beautiful♥️
Happy Birthday, Josh! May you be blessed with many more to come. Your meal was truly made with love. GREAT JOB BECKY❣️
That looks absolutely amazing! I have to try both the chicken as well as the cake! My daughter in law, I am positive she will love that cake! I appreciate you so very much. You come up with some wonderful eats!!!!
That cake looks amazing! We always have a new year's dinner and I really think that I'm going to make that for dessert. Thank you for sharing!❤
I have made something similar to this cake and it was amazing! It was a red velvet cheesecake cake. It had an oreo crust that went up the entire side of the cheesecake pan with a plain cheesecake base. Then you made a single layer redvelevet cake. Onto of the cheesecake layer you put ginach then lay down the red velvet layer. For decoration made a design with white chocolate and milk chocolate drizzled over the top and dollops of piped whipped topping and shaved chocolate. So delicious. Found it on pinterest
It all looked glorious but that cake was off the planet glorious! Thank you for the video!
Everything looks so good. I may follow your lead and make something similar for Christmas Eve dinner. Those carrots look awesome. Thinking I may try parsnips too. And that Cake. Wow! Enjoy your special meal as a little family. A start to many new and old traditions.
I was right about the chocolate cheesecake!!! So excited to watch! Thanks for sharing your life with us, Becky!
It's so good!
I'd love to try this but both my husband and I loathe any form of chocolate cake and deserts.
@@amsodoneworkingnow1978maybe you could try a different flavor of cake and if you do, let us know how it goes. 😊
@@amsodoneworkingnow1978 Ooohhh...substitute it with a berry or peach cake, instead.☺
@@amsodoneworkingnow1978 Maybe substitute with carrot cake with either a cream cheese or butter cream frosting!
My 8 year old and 6 year old boys love watching you cook. When your turkey went bad my 6 year old said, "Why can't Josh just go shoot a turkey?" 😂
Becky, that Looks delicious! What a great idea! I hope you decorated the table too! Blessings!
Wow that cake looks delicious. Your expressions during taste tests are my favorite. 🥰
You can always use spinach or a cut & come again lettuce for the chickens. I'm sure they would love fresh greens.
It all looks so delicious. Love the carrots and that cake heavenly.
OMG, that cake is GINORMOUS! I'm dying, lol.
A thought for next year, since you've been experimenting with your crock pot. I did this for my own Turkey Day, sinceit's just me - not a lot of people to cook for! I did turkey tenderloins in the crockpot with stuffing, kind of casserole style. There are tons of recipes for that sort of thing online. It was perfect - plenty of leftovers to enjoy without being overwhelmed by birdzilla!
Hi Becky
I found your channel recently and boy have i been binging lol.
I wanted to say I love that you have stepped out of your comfort zone with the colors you wear.
Your tops are as lovely as you. ❤
Becky , your cake looks delicious and you had plenty of frosting ,I had never seen a cheesecake in the center of two chocolate cakes , you are such a wonderful cook . I love every one of your shows.😊❤
Wow what a gorgeous meal
Just a thought when u use an offset spatula to frost turn the spatula around that way the frosting goes on better and the spatula has more room and won’t hit the side. Still looks beautiful it just makes it easier to frost a cake. That meal is making me drool!! 💗
I have worked in a bake shop for years where our 12 layer cakes where done this type of frosting mostly the same ingredients it was made in huge batches of course and set aside. We use to heat it just a little where it was poured over the 12 layer which also had the same frosting in each lawyer That way it would run down the sides which made it really easy to spread . It always dried to a really nice shiny firm coat.
Wow that is quite the dinner. Definitely going to have to try all of that menu. I love your reaction when you taste the meals you prepare. Thank you for make me a better cook!!! Blessings ❤️🌺
Every thing looks delicious! 🌟
Your cake looks fabulous! I'm going try your stuffed "turkey" with bacon, it looks so yummy! I'm not a fan of cooked carrots, but I may have to try your recipe and see if I can eat them cooked that way - I'm sure my grandsons will love them!
You should make kale chips in the dehydrator! Soak 1 cup cashews overnight, then drain and reserve the liquid. Blend with one red bell pepper, 1/3 cup nutritional yeast, 2 T each olive oil and lemon juice, 1 teaspoon each garlic powder and onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes and salt. Add some of the soaking liquid if necessary to make a thick sauce. Massage this mixture into one head of kale, torn up. Dehydrate in a single layer for about 14 hours. You can substitute sunflower seeds for cashews and make a pizza variation with fennel, oregano and sundried tomatoes or a honey mustard!
Everything looks so good! I followed your advice and freeze dried a bunch of onions I had chopped in the freezer (following ur lead too. Love having them in there). I freeze dried the onions and blended into powder. Oh my goodness. So fresh and delicious
You can make a light sauce with the essence in the pan and use a little chith broth or stock it also clears the pan
Wow beautiful chocolate cheesecake. It looks like a giant Oreo cookie covered in fudge; Yum!
Oh Becky thank you so much for bringing so much sunshine to my life. I am in Aaaw of your talents Your baking really inspires me. We can do this 😊
Thank you so much!
Becky, the next time you use your little offset spatula to frost a cake try using the back of the spatula instead of the front to scoop out the frosting and you will probably have a bit more control of the frosting.
If you put the plate of carrots between the lid and pot of potatoes, it will keep them warm for when you want to use them❤
I love the way you have the recipes out in n front. So well organize. Thank you.
Turnip and Mustard Greens. Cover crops in the South.
And I have always wanted to sow red clover in a bed or two. Or a field! Think about it.
Love your kitchen. And YOU are the best thing in your kitchen!
Tell me about your "paper" towels that are cloth, washable. Reusable. I need.
So glad I stumbled onto you channel.
I'm sure there is a commandment somewhere about not coveting thy neighbor's kitchen....but I seriously have a case of kitchen envy!!!! Thank you for another great afternoon of cooking 😊
It seems to work so well, doesn’t it?
HaHa ! You are not alone !
That cake looks delicious!! I don't know how you resisted liking the spatula after spreading the frosting... or did you do it off-camera? :) I will make it for Christmas. Yummy! The whole dinner looks fantastic. Thank you!
I hate to cook. Every pot and pan is used and I hate washing dishes even more. However my mouth has been watering for this entire video and you have used some of my favorite foods. I want to make the stuffed chicken breasts next week. Thank you. You are a truly creative inspiration.
Yum! Everything looks so delish! Thanks Becky xxx
Wow, everything looks fabulous! Thank you for doing what you do, and for sharing!😊
Everything you made looks absolutely delicious! When you put that cake together, I thought, "it looks like a giant Oreo cookie!" 😄 I am a dedicated fan. Keep up the good work!
As my dear departed mum would say, “Great minds think alike and fools seldom differ!” I thought the very same:a ginormous Oreo cookie!
I had several large, boneless skinless chicken breasts on hand, fresh herbs lingering in the garden, cream cheese, bacon . . . What a winner! Instead of broiling at the end of cook time, I lightly sizzled the bacon wrapped breasts in a heavy cast iron pan, flipped them, and popped them in the oven. Scrumptious! Tender, moist and perfect!
We literally had spinach stuffed chicken last night. We used garlic cloves and onion powder but other than that it was made the same way! 😀
Cake looks delicious.😊
If you ever get a chance to take a cake decorating class, it will help you(my Mom did when I was in high school), then years later I did before my son's first birthday. It helps to feel more one with the spatula(also a longer one is beneficial too), and helps lighten ones touch when frosting.😊
What are you babbling about? Becky could TEACH a cake decorating class!!!
@@ercieberwick1513 With all due respect one would give another human being.......even in the latest video with her Mom, Becky talks about how her Mom frosts a cake vs how she(Becky) frosts a cake. My comment was NOT babbling and was written with the utmost respect for Becky. It was an encouragement towards someone else. Perhaps you are not familiar with respect or encouragement. Too bad.
Omg Becky that dinner looked so delicious. Thats one lucky husband you have !!!
You’re so down to earth, Becky. Just love ya to pieces. Also, I’m relieved to see I’m not the only one with a completely stuffed utensil crock. I couldn’t fit another spatula in it if I tried! 😅
That cake looks so delicious 🤤 you’ve got my mouth watering.
Oh my gosh That cake looks so yum-- I want a big giant piece or even just a thin piece ! I bet it's really sweet.
Hi Becky, everything looks delicious. When you were putting the cake together it reminded me of a hostess snack cake, giant size though. Thanks for sharing
That chocolate fudge frosting looks like something that would go great over ice-cream too.
I love that he makes you a special dinner for Valentine’s Day 🥹 that’s so sweet and smart cause going out is a nightmare for that holiday lol
Looks delicious 🤩
Thanks so much for the cake tutorial... definitely going to make one!❤️
Excited to try this dessert! Love your videos Becky!🎉🎉🎉
Hope you enjoy!
That cake! Wowser! I bet it was incredible. What a lovely dinner you made. Im going to try those carrots tomorrow. Happy holiday dinner! 🌟
That cake looks so stunning!! 😊
Mustard is a traditional cover crop, it grows quite densely to suppress weeds and it's a nutrient fixer so even if you don't eat it, you can till it into your top soil ❤
same with radishes - she could grow food for the chickens all winter
That meal looks so delicious and easy! A must try for me! Thanks, Becky
OMG that cake is FABULOUS!!!! ❤
I am beyond excited by the desert you did here - Publix where I buy groceries used to have a bar cake exactly like this that they discontinued….I’ve been looking for a similar recipe for several years. Thank you so much & I enjoy your content so much!!
Oh my it all looks so yummy! Beautiful little family dinner to. 💕
Dinner looks amazing
Am I the only one thinking… lick that fudge frosting off the parchment?!!! 😆 Everything looks absolutely amazing! Great job!
I think I will make that cake this weekend. Thank you Becky
Becky what a lovely meal! Thank you for sharing. Last year I found a recipe for red velvet cake/cheesecake which was amazing. It was like your chocolate one except with red velvet cake and a cream cheese frosting. I'll have to try this one now! I'm sure Baby Acre enjoyed it, too. 😀 Printing the recipes now!
Gotta try this entire meal looks fantastic
Everything looks delicious!!!!!
That looks so good! Thanks for the surprise video!
Hi Becky! I Love your videos & your recipes! You have beautiful energy. That cake looks absolutely delicious!! My Dad’s Birthday is next week on the 13 ~ perfect timing Becky!! He doesn’t like anything too sweet. If you need to defrost chicken in a hurry, did you know you could always unwrap the frozen chicken breasts & place the meat into a large gallon size ziplock bag & seal. Place the zlock bag in a large pot of cold water, changing some of the water 2 or 3 times (while you are waiting & working on something else) and turning the bag over. Depending on your freezer, your chicken will be defrosted in about an hour. I’ve defrosted chicken many times like this, when I wanted it defrosted rapidly.
Wow everything looks so delicious 😋
Ohhh that all looks so good. I can't wait to try those recipes. x
Really lovely
Beautiful cake and meal.
WOW! What a delicious looking meal. Everything looks so wonderful and that cake is to die for. If I lived close to you, you would have to leave me a piece in your mail box so I could pick it up. This is so unfair to those of us who are unable to cook. lol/just kidding. Thank you for sharing with us.
This is an excellent idea Becky, I love all of your videos but 1 for a smaller family like mine is awesome for a change!
Not only are you a knowlegeable cook, but you have a delightful personality! You could make boiling water exciting!
Everything looks mouthwatering ❤
