- The wiring harness is the combination of electrical cables, or assembly of wires, that connects all electrical and electronic (E/E) components in the automotive vehicle, like sensors, electronic control units, batteries, and actuators.
Although a certified mechanic will need to confirm that rodents did cause the damage, the repairs for squirrels, mice or rats chewing car wires should be covered under a comprehensive claim.

Solution #1: get rid of rodents first!
Great job fixing it!
Thank you. we gave the customer some advice to avoid this from happening again.
Wow, nice work! More Rio videos!
Thanks! Will do! Part2 will be uploaded this week. Thanks again.
Gonna have to do this on my 2021 Kia forte. I wonder if it might just be easier to cut and splice everything from the back of the fuse box rather than replacing whole harness. My car took a front end driver side hit destroying the headlights and crushing the electrical coming from the front of the fuse box. Assembly rail is what stopped wooden object hit.
How long did this take you?
With the camera recording took me a day to removed and installed the new harness, I’m still working on the part 2. Thanks for watching.
