Been a while since I checked in--I'm happy to see you're still at it. War hammers are some of my favorite weapons; simple, effective, low-maintenance... and I'm just willing to bet an opponent would know good and well their bell had been rung if you landed a good smack, no matter how sturdy or well-padded their helmet might have been.

Would like to see you fill it with small bearings or BBs to make it a dead blow, good for bustin skulls.
War hammers were lighter so you can swing for extended periods and for recovery which is why i made it lighter
