  • This video lesson shows how to use the interface connect method to perform the share topology operation when using the Ansys Fluent Meshing watertight geometry workflow. The watertight geometry workflow in Ansys Fluent Meshing is a guided workflow designed to quickly mesh any clean watertight geometry. The guided workflow directs a user through a step-by-step process of simple, intuitive inputs. Behind the scenes, Fluent Meshing uses built-in intelligence and automation to create a high-quality computational fluid dynamics (CFD) mesh. In cases where Share Topology cannot be performed at the computer-aided design (CAD) creation phase, it is possible to do this operation at the meshing phase when using the Ansys Fluent watertight geometry workflow. In this video, we will explore how to use the interface connect method of the Apply Share Topology subtask of the Describe Geometry task to handle overlapping surfaces between connected bodies. This lesson is part two of a two-part series on using the Share Topology feature of the watertight workflow.
