I don't suppose a dk weight yarn can be used? I am not used to a fingering weight but it is so pretty I am tempted to try!
You may want to try sizing down. A #3 is a big difference from a #1 weight. To keep it light for summer, fingering weight is the best option.

Got confused you started with 3.5 then you changed to 4.5 after you close arm hole you change to 4 did I misunderstand

How would I do this with a 3 weight yarn? Which hooks would I use? 🤔
I’m a little confused with what hooks you are using. The only hooks in the description are 3.5mm and 4.5mm but around 41:41 you said that you are switching to a 4mm. Did you mean a 3.5mm or are you actually using a 4mm? Thank you so much! ❤
Yes I also got confused I usually use larger to begin foundations cause I always make it too tight so small for work cause then I relax making my work looser
