(Edit 6th November 2023) I've been feeling happy and normal since early October. I've been seeing a therapist and a social worker. They are so proud of my progress. Of course there are times where we feel like we're going back to square one, and it's okay. After years of constant suffering I need to relearn how to live and accepting inner peace. I also need to get to know myself again, and accept the changes my personality and my soul go through. I hope my comment and my journey can make people realize that, yes, it takes time. But there's hope, there's an end to it. I don't want to feel my heart stop beating, it's terrifying. We don't want to leave, we just want to feel okay. And since I never really heard that sentence a lot in my life, I want you guys to hear it from me : it's gonna be okay :))

This playlist made me cry... not because it was sad though... the nostalgia I have. Undertale was always my escape from the world. When I was sad, I would lock myself in my room, and play Undertale. When I was scared, it helped me with its soothing music, and beautiful story. When I was angry, it calmed me down. I will always be grateful to Toby Fox for making this beautiful game, as it was my entire childhood.

this motivated me to do homework for some reason
I feel like the fact that undertale keeps saying "STAY DETERMINED" made me actually not give up. I had a 1 mile run back in middle school before the virus struck and I was almost finished. For extra points we couldn't stop running and we were to finish in 10 minutes. Around the finale lap I was doing I was really tired and slowing down tremendously. But I kept telling myself.. "Stay Determined." It was pretty epic and had made me feel really good. I played literally every other ending of Undertale after that day.
Im super just not fit at all so thats really the reason I couldn't run a lot then.

Id drink Tea with Asgore in the morning, have a nice quiet chat. Then I'd head out in morning, and do some early training with Undyne. We'd fight together, laugh together, scream at things together! After that I'd cook some lunch (spaghetti) with Papyrus. We're both horrible at cooking, so I'd be a disaster, but it'd be worth it. Then I'd go chill with Napstablook, listen to sum lofi tunes, and comfort them. Tell them not to be so depressed, that it's okay. Then I'd hang out with Alphys and we'd watch some anime. I bet she'd love Haikyu, its so adorable and intense and also very gay (which she'd enjoy lol). Then Mettaton and I would perform together. I love singing, and dancing, and acting, so we'd do it all together! Mettaton would be such a fun person to hang out with!!! To end the day, I'd go for a nice romantic dinner with Sans. We'd talk, he'd tell me bad jokes, I'd laugh, I'd tell stupid stories, he'd laugh. Maybe a kiss or two if I was lucky. Itd be so nice...
Ofc, I know that'll never happen. Even if it did, I'm not interesting enough to hang out with Undyne, or cool enough to hang out with Papyrus. I'm too annoying to hang out with Napstablook, and too stupid to hang with Alphys. Im not talented enough to catch Mettaton's attention, and... I'm not anything enough for Sans to love me, or even want to talk to me. Im just a nobody fan-person dreaming about having monster friends who don't exist. 💔
this is just.. so amazing. i found out about undertale in 2016. i miss it a lot. i've grown out of the fandom, it's become really weird
but at times like this i just look back. at times where i was happy. at times where i enjoyed stuff. i loved it here. and i still do.

I’ve been listening to this music for what feels like my whole life. I’ve listened to other music, real music, video game music. But I’ve never let this game go. The Undertale soundtrack is truly special to me. And it will always be my #1 favorite game of all time.
Throughout all the struggle, the tears, and the heartbreak, It’s been there for me. And I’ll never let it go. I can’t let it go.

i just want to go on an adventure and make friends who accept me, love me, and support me through my hard ships. be with them, experience life with them, a second family. and knowing it will never happen hurts my heart but i'll keep living with hope. even if it feels like my heart feels like it's being squeezed out of it's chest as i listen to these songs, i can't help but want to hope. my happiness lingers in my day dreams and the hope that they'll become reality one day keeps me determined to keep living. it'll take long, and it will be hard, and i'll have to be really patient but i hope on day it pays off. if it doesn't... i guess i don't know what i'd do. but for now, i'm still young, so there is hope. i can't wait to go on my hypothetical journey.
