I think 100% here is not 100% power of the blue giant itself but it's the highest amount of energy that that gun can drain from the star for one shot ( like when you fully open a faucet connected to a water tank )
Even 0.00001% of the energy output of our own star (the sun, in case you're an idiot), would vaporise Earth. So yes, 0.001% of a blue giant would wipe out our entire solar system.

I came here just to say tessa kill this franchise. If they cast a wodden plank and name it tessa, i cant tell the difference.
This movie was horrible! Too much talking.
Tessa has proven to be a good actress in other works. Her character here is just written terribly.
Stupid movie. Bring back the original duo.
Having a perspective shift want the issue. Issue was the plot was crap the acting terrible (yes the duo was awful but it didn’t have to be thee super genius and the cretin) and any and all stakes were nullified by the never ending snark and nonchalant attitudes.
They comedied out the good aspects of the franchise.

such a bad film.
completely threw away all the stylised shapes and structures that made MIB unique. the fruity cancel-ready humour? gone, the vast array of aliens living among us that we 'don't know about'? gone. all the practical props and effects that really sold the shitty but amazing SFX? gone.
instead we got 2 type casted characters pretending to be james bond, a character that doesnt fit either of their type.
like, even the part where she's like: "just drive" and neutralises everyone. they completely destroy the last 3 films of build up, explaining that you can't just click the button and expect people to forget, you have to give a story, fill the deleted space in their brains with new information.
if you rode by on a space bike, neuralised them, the rode away on the space bike, they wouldn't remember going out to the markets that day, but would remember the last thing they saw or heard, being the damn space bike.
if you neuralised them and said "this isnt a space bike, this is a cammel wearing a new type of silver heat blanket, a really fast cammel by the way", then everyone would remember it that way and live on.
films like this, that replace space age furniture with cheap shit 'hologram' computers, and ignore lore that took good time to build up, ruin all the fun for film making.
Feminists destroyed this franchise just like they are doing to the msheu!
"Feminists" has nothing to do with this movie being bad, it's about screenwriters, quit being a whiny baby blaming boo-boo words you don't like for everything, you are embarrassing yourself.
