You will not be penalized if you choose to enter the name of a spouse from whom you are legally separated. So you can choose to include their name or not. About the child, you have to include their name(and photo) even if you don’t live with them or plan to bring them with you incase you win.

Hello Takira, thanks for reaching out, if you have a passport please input the same way it appears on the passport...on college degree it depends with the type..it can either be a vocational school option or some university courses if it was offered under a university.

If you win you’ll need one to be able to travel. You don’t necessarily need one by the time the results come out but you may need it to be able to do the next process. You can start early if you want to, doesn’t hurt having a passport in hand

Hello guys! I have a question, it would be appreciated if you could help me to find the true answer. I am DV winner and I got the visa. However, it is not possible for me to get into the USA now. My plan is to enter to the USA for just a few days in order my entrance to be recorded. I will give to the port officer the home address of my friend (who lives in the USA) for recieving the green cart. Then I will leave the USA. After 5-6 months I will back to the USA (with the hope that within this period I reveive the green cart). My question is that does this plan work? And in the second time when I back to the USA I won't face with any ligal problem. In other word, do my visa and green cart allow me to make these two travels to and from the USA?
We would recommend staying long enough after entering the first time to receive your greencard through the mail. USCIS says it may take upto 90 days but it might take shorter than that. If you have your greencard in hand you can travel out of the country for a period of less than 6 months with no consequence and be able to come back in. Without a greencard you may not be able to get back into the country.

Kenyan passports match the format and names of the national ID. I guess if one will solely use deatils on the National ID to apply, they have to use the new generation ID since it has the updated birth places, districts, divisions etc. Kuna kulipa soo ama chwani for normal passport photos but US visa passport photos ni punch kuendelea(depending on area code), you'll be given both digital and physical photos. Learnt something about the occupation bit. I'll be mindful of that.

You should chose some university courses coz in two years you will have the university transcripts that you can share with them incase you win

No. In that case , each should fill separately .Only when you are legaly married that's when it's recognized as a marriage.

Some people have a 2 part address. If that’s not the case you can leave it blank as one of them is optional

Without a greencard you may not be able to get back into the country.
