  • Jamaican Prime Ministers have served collectively for over 50 years. Over that period of time, from 1962 until now (2022), only one (1) female has been awarded the honour of that title. That is - The Hon. Portia Simpson Miller.
In this video we take a look at ALL the Jamaican Prime Ministers from Norman Manley, our first premier, to Andrew Holness, the present and current Prime Minister of Jamaica.

I GOT DISCONNECTED. re PORSHA; BECAUSE OF HER THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE HAS BECOME NIL & VOID & IS BEING REPLACED BY PATWA, AS THE ISLAND OFFICIAL LANGUAGE.
SHE WAS A MISFIT TO THE 🏝 TITLE
"PRIME MINISTER " SHE SHOULD NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED AS SOMEONE WHO HELD THAT TITLE.
HAPPY TO SEE HER OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT.

Learn to honor your own . We still honor Bustamante who ordered the death of Rastafarians and look where they are today. So stop the nonsense and honor the first woman head of JA. Govt .He without sin cast the first stone.

That vulgar woman made Jamaica look bad, the only reason she was made prime minister was the fact that Jamaica wanted their first female prime minister, nothing else..... And what did she do more than full up Maxfield with guns and embarrass Upstanding Jamaicans.
This lady can't even put a proper sentence together no matter how many degrees or diplomas she bought.
Man if you nuh have nutten fi say Leave The video alone.
As for the Honourable Alexander Bustamante, one word explains everything or an abbreviation rather, B.I.T.U.

Very good but facts should be complete. Don't forget the violence of the 70s 80s and 90s and the three prime ministers of that time. I returned to Jamaica 1974 many of us almost lost our lives on the boat the begonia. I brought my family home to a country where I was able to match my pay in England to the same in Jamaica the $was1.20 to the us $I was in engineering things went down hill. I left in the mid 2ooo for the USA. Violence was the main reason. What we have in Jamaica is corruption in the government and lawmakers and enforcement. Include the facts good and bad.ignore my profile I'm as black as you born in troja st Catherine Jamaica 1942

Portia Simpson rose to become Jamaica's first female prime minister from humble beginnings. She was a woman who identified with the people and the people identified with her for they understood her and the fight she got from haters because she was herself . She was envied for her leadership quantities and has shown many woman who has gone through these same resentment because ofbadmind envy and jealousy . Many are haters because of the strong black woman that She was and they can only dream of becoming . She was not a woman of big words but when she walk to Gordon House did you not noticed ...... people.... including big talk bright men and women from both side of the house ...... follow behind her or stand when she enters any room .... for she is their leader .....they work for her . How Many of you in this section can fit her shoe with your big words and over inflated ego ? . Try ascending to her position than badminding her . That's a more healthy thing to do to prevent you all developing high blood pressure problem over the honorable Mrs Simpson's success .

I remembered the day that Bustamante died and a sway of wind blew where i was at the time that his passing announced waer being announced over the radio.
And that sway of wind i would call it an interlude for about 5 mins and didn't even know that he did so much in this country.
