- We have never been able to visit Balmoral before this year as isn't open to the public in September when we have stayed near Aberdeen so this June we had chance to go and really enjoyed the visit. Suitable for Children and Family viewing
This is apparently one of the Queen's favourite homes:and it is here where she can be much more relaxed.It's not hard to see why..your own veg/fruit/that incredible space with beautiful trees everywhere;the famous turrets where a bagpipe player serenades her every morning.Thanks for giving us a peek into this home with the beautiful river runs all the way through,and where the Queen Mum enjoyed fly fishing so much.All the locals know and love the family;and they treat them as their own.I like these words on the wall small in the garden;" One is nearer G-ds heart in a garden than anywhere else." I love visiting Scotland and missed being able to go here a few times as it was closed because the Queen was in residence. Not much of the inside is available to the public but they do show a lovely video of the royal family over the years they have been there which I really enjoyed.. Thanks for viewing Tuk. Thank you Spencer. I loved that visit and it has been quite upsetting for us all when our lovely Queen Elizabeth died in September. I know she was quite old but so full of life until the end. She had a few difficulties in summer but, like many of us, it was still a great shock when they announcement was given that day. If we ever get chance to visit Balmoral again when we visit that part of Scotland I would love to take another video as This one is not in HD. Have a wonderful weekend S. Warm greetings, Julie🙂
I’m so glad you filmed this Julie. The video I’ll be sharing next is of a museum that had silk art from all around the world. One of the places shown in the artwork is Balmoral Castle! I decided to search if you had been there and sure enough, here it is lol. It’s very interesting to see it through video vs a postcard. Just looking at the picture I don’t realize it’s a residence of the royal family. Sure is a beautiful!
Just shows what we come across in other YT videos. I have only been to Balmoral twice as it is closed when the Queen and family are on their holiday there. We checked both times we were up staying near Aberdeen to make sure we could go for a visit. I love the open spaces they have and can understand why the Queen loves it so much compared to the busy London area. Thanks for viewing Spencer and I look forward to your video. Greetings. Julie😊
