Bringing the high desert to you! Keefer takes you on a few laps of an OG corner track up in the high desert. Dodging cops and couches, the high desert is home for the Keefers.
If you told me this was a track from where I grew up riding, I'd believe you. It looks exactly like where I'm from in Reno, NV. Crazy that the high dez from one place is the same as the high dez of another.
Awesome track.....reminds me of me in 1986, 26 years old, when i used to ride my CR 125 around this track near my house at the power lines......it was all sand no real jumps but fun as heck......it also brought back some lonely times as i was the only one around still riding dirt bikes and i didnt really have many friends.....the friends i had all got married and had good jobs......i was still living at home.......but after work at least 3 times a week i would go riding at my track for about 35 minutes and life was ok......today im 64 and doing the same thing riding around my yard and messing with my bike and riding for like 10 minutes and coming back into the house and the wife asks how was the riding, and i would say life is ok today hun
Had a blast up there on Saturday. Really want to start hitting those the high dez more. Really feel like the loose soil helps me work on technique and body positioning.
I’m Tired,Old Man Tired….Boy can I Relate to That 🤣….I was a Fast Moto Stud in my Teens up to my Late 30s, now I’m 56 & I’m So Slow,I gotta Speed Up to Stop🤑
i was listening to your recent podcast and you mentioned arm pump.......arm pump means a hard muscle that doesnt relax to a soft state quickly.....i know you like talking dirty, but i digress, when one works out you isolate in your head what muscles to use, i hope you do at least, and what you need to do is isolate not to use those arm muscles while riding......it takes a conscience effort but it can be done.....i use that method and it works for me, no arm pump......i still grip the bars and it is a different kind of grip and i notice my shoulders and mid back get used more......its all about triggering the right muscles and training the right ones to trigger......a strong core really helps too.....good luck and you know im 64 years old and i used to use this method when i was 26 riding on the powerlines, today i dont go so animal when i ride

Notice you spending a lot of time on the KX450. Is that your go to now, or just extended testing?
