In India we don't have sky scrapers everywhere. For example from traveling from one city to another we go through a lot of villages. Tall buildings are not there everywhere in India. But yes, it would be great to have something built like this.
Almost? Definitely. Each state has its own culture that is seriously very rich but people don't have time for something like this cuz they are busy with religion, caste etc issues. They are more important than the development of the nation. Yeah, its is.*insert sarcasm*
They have educated village people and our kacha badam, jane meri janeman people (talented in sarcastic way)
we have this type of places in Punjab in multiple cities usually under name sada pind or mera pind or sada punjab and some as haweli

These houses are somewhat similar to old Punjabi homes except that natural ac thing. Even doors are same and also known as Darwaza in Punjab. idk about other states.
