I own a 72 Vette with a 350 with 350hp and a 5 spd manual I drive it to work everyday. It’s got high performance suspension, leather, and factory side pipes. It’s loud as hell and scares small children and dogs.
From the factory 72 corvettes had net hp for 72 . So when new were rated lower .

I owned a 70' Corvette for 23 years, I loved it. Most reliable, fun, easy to work on car that I've ever owned.
Why I wanna find a 68-80 model and dial it in for a good all around daily eventually a t56 magnum for better mileage keep it all mechanical and old school just make the gearing and clutch top tier really

GhostOfWar it's a classic sports car, there's nothing that "takes it for what it is" it should be very good to drive. Do you even know cars. It's probably worth more than whatever you're driving, if you even drive. As it has an average price of close to $50K.

That car design, makes today's Corvette look like a fucking embarrassment. Not saying the current Corvette looks bad, it looks okay, but that thing over there, is insanely good looking and has got some character.

I know it's an old comment but I have to write it ;) Corvette has completely changed now as a brand, in the past it used to be an uncomplicated car for bad boys with a little bit thinner wallet. It really didn't cost much, an average Joe could afford it. It was a typical car for a drug dealer, or a hard-working single Joe who wanted to pick up Janet at the disco for a night. Right now it almost competes with bigger brands like Porsche etc., it's still a bit cheaper, but the ZR1 performance kicks ass. In the past it was all about the character and the lifestyle, and now it's the performance.
Yes that's the mako shark by bill mitchell and good thing about it is width very narrow compared to new one much better on winding roads

Muncie M21 with the longer throw than the M22......and it’s definitely hittin on all 8 cylinders......almost sounded a sluggish at first but when he started squeezing it you could feel the torque.......but I love the whine of those M22’s......that’s a nice ride there!
