I had someone explain to me the 7 Spirits of God can be illustrated by looking at the Menorah, which has seven lamp holders. The one in the middle is like the Holy Spirit, and the other 6 lamps come OUT OF the middle lamp branch. Thus showing how the other six spirits of Isaiah 11:2 are a part of the Holy Spirit, are present when the Holy Spirit is fully manifest in all its splendor. Also, if you saw the menorah from a great distance at night, it would appear as one flame or light, and if you called that the Holy Spirit you would be correct. BUT, as you get closer to the Holy Spirit you see it has these other 6 spirits which are connected and branch off of the main spirit. So it is with our relationship with God. As we get closer to Him, have a more intimate relationship with Him, we see there is much more to Him than if we keep the relationship distant.
