Sony WF-C500 drops to 3k during sales and its far from a balanced sound signature. Its a clear V shaped signature. The bass is boosted though its limited by the smaller 5.8mm driver. Vocals are recessed and sound a bit nasal at times. Highs are clear, sometimes stepping into a bit of a piercing territory. Good thing about these is that the frequency curve is available in the Autoeq project so you can tailor it to your preference.

@@bavisen9980 I have both and the FE does way better in ANC, mic quality and battery life. Buds FE last me almost 7hrs with ANC while the Buds 2 Pro gives 4-4.5hrs with ANC. Also the FE has a more balanced sound tuning while the Buds 2 Pro has sharp and sibilant trebles that cannot be corrected even with EQ. The Buds 2 Pro does a little better in instrument separation and also my sis's Pixel Buds Pro does better in that regard but instrument separation is not everything. Buds FE may be way cheaper but sounds better than both. I bought mine at 4500 with bank discounts.

The "Dynamic" EQ preset is tuned exactly in reference to the Harman Curve. Both doesn't have custom EQ but FE is perfect on the Dynamic EQ, while on the Buds 2 Pro, it makes the treble and sibilance even worse. There's nothing i can do about it except use the Wavelet app to tune down the treble, but then again it makes the soundstage even more narrower and makes the sound dark and flat.

If you have 15 pro max then anything that's below the budget range of Airpod for 15 pro max is a waste and you will be missing out on the full capabilities of the Apple Environment.. Apple has patents for mindblowing airpods which I believe may launch alongside 16 or definitely by 17 that uses a certain feedback of the users brain signal to adjust to the users listening experience without any need to manually tinkering the Equalizer and stuff.. so, if you are into flagship devices and IOS environment.. don't miss out the best it has to provide.. cheers.

CMF Buds Pro 2 is actually very costly.. it costs around 15k *on sale in Amazon.. INR. Also, in that range I would rather close my eyes and go for JBL Live Beam 3 tbh, it's far superior than CMF Buds Pro 2 .. apart from the proprietary features, something that even One Plus Buds 3 have since the LDAC codec doesn't work on other phones apart from One Plus phones. I wonder how you got the CMF Buds 2 at that dirt cheap rate.. lucky you though.. if it was priced at 5k I would had got it myself, since that's would be a good deal enough for settle down if one cannot afford the JBL.. also, TOGO has an earbud, the hi-res certified.. it's costly, but I have heard that it's one of the best.. Bought the realme air buds 5 pro for games as 40ms was advertised. Sadly, after using it, the latency is 100+ms even with gaming mode on. Cant return it as Flipkart says they want a job sheet from service centre. Went to service centre and they told me they cant provide job sheet for latency issue as they cant repair it. So yea, I'm stuck with this realme air buds 5 pro which i dont want.
Upgrade your budget from 5k to 7k and buy galaxy buds 2 pro during the next sale....trust me its a flagship tws with amazing sound quality...it was originally launched for 18k
Buddy got that in sale it cost me around 6100 from samsung official website. But after 7-8 months I sold it off and got OnePlus buds 3 and never regretted my decision. These were cons faced by me(few of them are deal breakers at least for my usage): 1. No Multi Device Connectivity(for non Samsung phones)(deal breaker) 2. No plug and play detection( ear in and out play and pause, only works if you remove both) 3. Only supports aac and sbc, (no ssc or ldac or lhdc for non-samsung phones, ) 4. Fitting is not that good, I couldn't wear them for more than 2 hours continuously. (This can be subjective) 5. The earbuds battery was good but the case battery was below average. Note: The above review is based on my usage with non- samsung phone. These new buds like OnePlus buds 3, Realme air 5 pro, and oppo enco 3 pro can beat galaxy buds 2 pro in most aspects except mic quality and anc. The difference is not that huge but yes mic quality was better on galaxy buds 2 pro. Rest everything is top notch with OnePlus buds 3.
