Sasuke’s new ultimate redeems Kirin in the Storm franchise. Back when CC2 made Storm 2, every ultimate Jutsu in that game looked awful compared to ultimates before that game and after that game, because of how short they were, how lazily they were made, and the lack of impact in them. The only ultimate that actually looked decent was Lars Alexandersson’s ultimate: a Tekken character. Sasuke’s Kirin ultimate originated from Storm 2, and it didn’t look that good much like the other ultimates in that game. This game’s new ultimate actually makes Kirin look cool and devastating, and adding another one makes the ultimate even more awesome. I wish that CC2 would redo the ultimates from Storm 2 to make them actually look cool and more impactful. Some characters from Storm 2 deserve new movesets and/or new ultimates, like Itachi should get a new moveset, particularly his Reanimation counterpart, and Deidara should have more from his fight against Sasuke, including a C4 Karura ultimate and an ultimate where he detonates himself (I’d say that one could go to his Reanimation counterpart since Reanimations can survive things like suicide moves).
sasuke connects the UJ from a crumple animation, was that possible in storm 4? 90% of my playtime was generations so idk
i’m really hoping we get lots of updates or gameplay for storm connections more often now. i wanna know when u think a release date will be announced

Hope the ranged characters can get some new mechanic aswell, if they dont get improved somehow it can lead to even more disadvantages when compared to circle combos now that aparently there are new posibilities

i don't know if these changes would be good, but i do know they will never happen, but i will share them anyways.
My idea is for every character to have between 2 and 4 tilt moves, that change depending on the direction of the imput.
-along with that i would lower the damage oF the auto combos
-reduce the amount of substitutes (1-2)
-and instead of guardbreak we would have chip damage
The tilt moves would be where each character has the opportunity to show their playstyle, and the reason i would make those other changes is because these tilt attacks would be able to combo into each other and the autocombos, but during block strings they would leave gaps for the opponent to hit if their frame data allows for it.
Some characters could be heavier with slow but powerful tilts that can be only used on the ground, other could have long range tilts and others could have very fast tilts that can be canceled, the timing required to make the combos could also differ, with easier characters being more forgiving, while others would have very tight execution requirements. Mix and match these characteristics.
Another thing is that not every tilt would be leader switchable
So, let's try an example
shikamaru
when i think of shikamaru, i think of an long range area control character with grabs, so that's what his tilts would do.
His first tilt would be a fast long range attack that throws his shadow in a straight line, if it connects it grabs the opponent keeping them in place, from which you could switch to follow up, but you can also press O to throw them up and deal damage, if the attack doesn't connect, you can still press O and the shadow would leave the ground doing an upward slash, but this is no longer a grab.
His 2nd tilt would be a cone that grabs and pulls the opponent closer, this attack can hit multiple characters, so it can easily stop assists.
And finally his 3rd tilt would be a circle around him, that is also a grab, has a longer start up but stays on the ground for longer, being usually used as a trap to catch chakra dash, you can follow up, or press O to knock them down.
His tilts can combo, but wouldn't deal much damage, because they are all leader switchable, functioning as set ups for your other offensive characters.
Characters like minato could have 4 tilts, maybe even more if they work differently in the air, and they would mostly not be switchable, but would have insane combo potential between themselves and his auto combos, with harder execution.

Not gonna lie when they first showed Indra and Ashura I was ehhhh is it honestly worth the money? However, I remained optimistic and now after seeing this I'm sold on it and I'm sooooo hyped for what's to come. Bravo Bandai, they are doing great things with this game so far.

Wondering if they’ll bring back awakening ultimate jutsu’s because if Baryon mode is an awakening they can give it the power it deserve of an awakening & the cinematography of power like ults do if they bring that back
They need to let us pre order!!
If you can still land things on people while they're on the ground just imagine how much stronger a strike back will be.
It will be so easy to land a uj after a strike back, especially if they can't rebound out of it and have no chance of blocking it. Also the number of characters you can do this with would increase so much. This will be interesting to see
What if they took out jump canceling/holo stepping, for combo-able stun states and only being able to ninja move out of attacks.

I’m betting that these 2 Characters will end up as alternates for their road to boruto counterparts like how you’d switch to an alternate costume. Not literally an alt costume but like how tailed beast bomb naruto has 2 different versions of the character.
They’re probably going to remove the hokage naruto and shadow hokage sasuke costumes for their last characters since we’re already getting 2 new variants of rtb naruto and sasuke.

So basically its just storm 4 but with new maps and characters........i dont see any new mechanics to the game as yet they only show casing characters.....we wanna see new mechanics like if jutsu clashs coming back or like team ninjutsus combination acts like in ultimate ninja 5 you stuff like that this is just giving a storm 4 vibe with new characters and maps nothings special as yet......i hope some changes come along down the road but all the same grateful for the sneak peek of the new characters

Surely switch will still be there even if in an altered form.
Nothing's definitely confirmed on switch tech but leader switching is said to be in Connections

I love new storm content but I’m still not a fan of baryon mode design. Also sasuke just looks the same. I hope they added some much needed cosmetics like sasuke without his cloak and hokage Naruto without his cape.

@@rainyame7441You're right. There might not be a leader switch since it's incredibly flawed and buggy. It's like what happened with Storm Revolutions type system and Storm 3's instant awakening.

This could be a very stupid jutsu. Inferno fireball spam is already enough pls. But 3 amatarasus Omg so cheap man. I hate jutsus like that. Way to easy to hit and really annoying to counter. It's litteraly like the same as with naruto the last jutsu. Just cheap. Like bro, big as hit box, deleteting all other jutsus, fireball damage, fireball sub hit (u sub but still take the damage)....we really don't need more from these op jutsus. Like an jutsus that take same Chakra as all the other jutsus but delete all other jutsus? Just cheap.
We'll see how the priorities are on this jutsu vs other jutsu before making final opinions 👌
