I wouldn't be surprised that people had offered Beckham to move ahead and he declined. What a guy.
He truly has respect. He wants to be treated like anyone else, good for him
He is anyone else 😂
@@Former_Pastor he isn’t anyone else tho.
My son went too Weatherby Prep School , and as a new boy was very nervous, in line for lunch a boy came up and introduced himself and made my son feel like he was befriended and welcome , that boy turned out to be Cruize Beckham, and I can tell you he was a lovely well bought up boy just like his Dad , who had no airs or graces and was a real gentleman and was also lovely and Friendly to my son Harry , so yes he really is a gentleman in real life 🙏
Now, THIS , is news worthy! Refreshing :) He got soul down to his core.
It shows what a proud Englishman David Beckham is, to queue from the small hours with normal everyday people, and probably to get in stop attention the whole time, just so he could spend a few seconds Infront of the queen's coffin to show his respects, absolutely 100% fantastic bloke.
He just wanted attention
@@Former_Pastor mate is David beckham if we wanted attention he would walk too the shop
Yeah yet mps families and other so called celebrities queue jumped but David Beckham is a legend he waited with the people.
All this goes to show just how loved the Queen was.
Much renewed respect for this millionaire sportsman... for being so humble and never forgetting his roots before he became a star in Premiere League... so unassuming and respect for everybody who stands in the queue.
DAVID Beckham , so humble....
That's incredible. That people do this.
I think this what makes our little country great
Your country is not that little ;)
true gentleman, thank you
✌ David Beckham, what a humble champ!
Love David is the best♥️♥️♥️good save the Queen
Sadly I could not wear a black dress I wear a black silk bow as a show of respect to our Queen, far from home but my heart has never left England.
R.I.P your majesty.
my only questions are were there enough porta potties near the line/queue and if snacks and drink are offered/sold as well?
❤️❤️❤️
That is a queue fit for a Queen.
David Beckham epitomizes British values...while he didn't do it for recognition, he should be honoured.
Yes, Eliot you got the point even though some dorks still talking rubbish thing about him.According to those specific people his name shouldn't be in news headlines just because he has unique approach than other celebs.
@@vikashsharma9837 There's a Yiddish word to describe Mr. Beckham..."mensch" it means decent, respectable human being.
RESPECT DUE! Beck's - class act. 🙏🙏🙌🙌💖💖💯💯
Oh, David Beckham, #WhatAMan!
Queue it like Beckham!
Well done
😂🇬🇧
I find it really amazing how many people are on that line that are not young. Doing this for 12 hours cannot be easy on anyone never mind the older person. I don't know too many countries where this would happen for any leader.
God save our king. Rip your majesty
God save Burger King
Queen Elizabeth may be laying in her coffin, but the Queen's Guards are still outstanding
so has millions of people
Prince Andrew served in the Falklands war NOT Afghanistan! Get informed!
Unexpected.
Before another storm?

CHAPTER 1
A FUNERAL
So gorgeous was the spectacle on the May morning of 1910 when nine kings rode in the funeral of Edward VII of England that the crowd, waiting in hushed and black-clad awe, could not keep back gasps of admiration. In scarlet and blue and green and purple, three by three the sovereigns rode through the palace gates, with plumed helmets, gold braid, crimson sashes, and jeweled orders flashing in the sun. After them came five heirs apparent, forty more imperial or royal highnesses, seven queens - four dowager and three regnant - and a scattering of special ambassadors from uncrowned countries. Together they represented seventy nations in the greatest assemblage of royalty and rank, ever gathered in one place and, of its kind, the last. The muffled tongue of Big Ben tolled nine by the clock as the cortege left the palace, but on history's clock it was sunset, and the sun of the old world was setting in a dying blaze of splendor never to be seen again.
In the center of the front row rode the new king, George V. flanked on his left by the Duke of Connaugbt, the late king's only surviving brother, and on his right by a person age to whom, acknowledged The Times, "belongs the first place among all the foreign mourners," who "even when relations are most strained has never lost his popularity amongst us" - William II, Emperor of Germany. Mounted on a gray horse, wearing the scarlet uniform of a British Field Marshal, carrying the baton at that rank, the Kaiser had composed his features behind the famous upturned mustache in an expression "grave even to severity." Of the several emotions churning his susceptible breast, some hints exist in his letters. "I am proud to call this place my home and to be a member of this royal family," he wrote home after spending the night in Windsor Castle in the Cormer apartments of his mother.
...
Detachments from all the famous regiments, the Coldstreams, the Gordon Highlanders, the household cavalry and cavalry of the line. the Horse Guards and Lancers and Royal Fusiliers, brilliant Hussars and Dragoons of the German, Russian, Austrian, and other foreign cavalry units of which Edward had been honorary officer, admirals of the German Navy - almost, it seemed to some disapproving observers, too great a military show in the funeral of a man called the "Peacemaker".
I see everyone paying huge ‘respect’ to David Beckham. Yes its good he went there for himself, he is a millionaire through playing football. Much more respect to the people who work 40+ hours a week, just being able to pay off rent and buy some groceries. These are the people who should be respected. Not the man who already made it and has nothing to worry about. Y’all so star struck. Thats what makes the world the way it is now.
So true I don't know why this is even a news. He's an ordinary person and should follow what everyone does.
You guys are missing the point. Sadly in our society people who are celebrities don't hold themselves to the same standard as the rest of us have to be held to. For once a celebrity didn't pull the celebrity card and to stand/walk for 12 hours straight is no easy feat even if you're in good health.
@@PFCD That's because in the UK ( and especially also in Australia and New Zealand) we don't like people getting up themselves.
@@PFCD its not only celebrities who don’t hold themselves, also ‘normal’ people don’t hold themselves. Why is it news that one guy who happens to be famous by his football skills joins the queue while 100 thousands if not more than a million people visiting that.
“Dont get the point”
@@lano1196 David Beckham ain't accountable for medias' actions he didn't tell them to portray him quiet distinctive to others.Put yourself in his shoes then you'll get answer yourself and please throw a cold glass water over jealousy.
Woww. Beckham queing..
IT IS PRONOUNCED SUTH-UCK PARK NOT SOUTH-WARK PARK
“When people find out they can see the casket”? Who doesn’t know?
They all know and they don’t care! It’s a matter of respect. People don’t go to look, they go to honour The Queen 👑
Next thing you know, the reporter was Shang Chi
Love the way the Americans pronounce Southwark. South-Wark
What park? lol. Make sure you know how to pronounce the place names.
SHE WAS BECKHAMS QUEEN TOO..😢😢😢😢😢
Shouthawk Park is pronounced Shuthhook NOT South-park
My deepest condolences to the royal family and all those in the UK and around the world who are feeling devastated by the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Thank you CBS News for this update, giving us a reminder of our mortality, but in Jesus Christ we can have immortality says the Bible (e.g. John 3:16), here is a song of life in Jesus: czcams.com/video/DkIDblTKdaM/video.html
I had subway for lunch…🤷🏿♂️🤣
I got a great deal on an air fryer at a yard sale yesterday.
😎😎😎😎😎😎😎🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
That's pronounced 'Suthuk' ( hard 'th') Park. South Walk.
Y'all are so disrespectful.
I flied easily from America to Vietnam. Watching this is tired too. Just funny.
Dave got a nice few Bob from Qatar
Balderdash, he had a stand in and was notified when it was close to Westminster. Also, please explain the basic necessities are taken care of, because no human can wait 12 hours for food and drink. Walk through port a potties? They have official que standers that one pays to stand in line for how much? Just like Israel has hired wailers ….. waiting
The basic necessities have been provided. The British know to organise these sorts of things. As for the rest of what you wrote - that is rubbish. And why should you care anyway? Just get a life!
Ahh yes,
Guy had to be in the spotlight,
Make it about him
I was wondering how long it would take for celebs to get their next 5 minutes of fame. Piggy backing on the queens funeral. No one cares. Move on already.
You sad person - to be burdened with such cynicism.
Who the heck is David Beckham?
Former England Football captain. Also played for Manchester United. He met the Queen on a few occassions and received an OBE from her.
The UK is the most overweight nation in Western Europe, with levels of obesity growing faster than in the US, a new report has warned.
And that is relevant to this how?
Mong
Who?
cares
That "In the Closet" Tattooed guy that used to play Soccer. That married a Spice Girl as his Beard.
Former England Football captain. Received and OBE from Queen, met her a few occasions.
You apparently.
WAITING HOURS to see an Empty Casket with a Crown on it. Almost like waiting days for the next Star Wars movie.
😉 Except for Mandalorian and Grogu, considering all the drivel they've churned out the last 2 decades, wouldn't it be nice if Star Wars happen once every couple of centuries too like how Queen E1, V, and E2 are spaced out?
Its not empty
