See Michael that’s the thing. All Jordan 12’s are inspired by the Rising Sun flag. That is the core design aspect, it’s right on the side of every pair. Nike/Jordan wasn’t trying to offend anyone, it was purely a concept to pay homage to Japan. Little did Jordan Brand know, the other side of the world felt different about the design regardless of the good intentions. Some have even reached out to Air Jordan himself and Tinker to discontinue the entire Jordan 12 model, but we know that’s never happening. Also, the U.S. was on the other side of the war back in the day so that may explain the ignorance of this shoe’s design.
@@ColoCulture you do realize the Rising Sun 12 wasn’t the first 12. The Jordan 12 was inspired by traditional Japanese women shoes. The Rising Sun was originally slated to pay tribute to Japan culture but the insole was actually taken away and the sneaker was actually NOT released with the insole. They pushed the drop back so they could change the insole out and was. Yes some got out but it was t released with the insole. But ok believe what you wanna. Keep on keeping on
@@michaelmann4742 You're correct but the design still comes from that flag. The sun rays are on the side of every Jordan 12. I even had the pair that came with the the replacement insoles.
Grasping at straws here
That’s actually where the inspiration for the design came from, it’s not grasping straws. Your in denial!
I will still wear those i dont care at all, like everyone says they hate kanye but will still wear foamrunners and yeezys
💯
bruh what
Wtf are u on 💀 bro
On god
Whose gonna see the insole?🤔👀🤦
Sure know one sees the insole but the entire upper of the shoe is inspired from the sun rays of that flag.
The sniffing crew is, bud.
My brain is hurting now trying to figure out what this 12 has to do with the 12 Rising Sun. 🤦🏼♂️

The shoe has nothing to do with that history. The shoe being evil? What? It’s a clean color way. If you like them, buy them.
