That’s what I thought as I heard that farting and burping is looked at as incredibly rude in Italy. Maybe only in the north!
It's almost certain that none of those people are Italian citizens. The dressing is an indication plus in the areas shown, 95%+ of the people walking casually are tourists.

First of all during the week we dress a lot casuals and on top of that a lot of them spoke italian

How times have changed from when I was a teenager in Highschool in the 1980's when a guy farted loudly in public ( classroom) , all the guys would laugh and all the girls would whip round and stare at you with a mixture of emotions all wrapped up in one disapproving look , ranging from disgust, to horror, to disbelief, to outright contempt . These videos of Derek show laughter after the initial disbelief and shock . 😅😅😅
