Your original score faces were hilarious...Indiana Jones has more oscar noms than Saltburn, All of Us Strangers and The Iron Claw...smh
Whilst definitely true, I'm comforting myself with the thought that it was a John Williams nom rather than for Indiana Jones per se, much like the Diane Warren song was more a nom for her than for whatever random film she wrote a song for this time
The scores choices were the most appalling. Where the heck is Daniel Pemberton?
Robot Dreams got 5 Annie award nomination, including Best independent feature, which is the frontrunner to win
The winner in the category always get in the Oscars.

How on earth does Barbie qualify as an adapted screenplay and Maestro doesn't?
Daniel Pemberton should have at least been nominated for Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse because I think it’s the best film score from last year. It’s my personal pick to win. The Academy should get over their bias against animation.
Not nominating Great Gerwig is insane
I think Margot Robbie not being nominated for Best Actress is even more insane. She should have been nominated over Annette Bening.

The documentary branch of the Academy is the stupidest branch of the Academy considering they snub the frontrunners almost every year. As a matter of fact, 20 Days of Mariupol is the only documentary film that’s nominated at the Oscars and the BAFTAs. It gives you the idea that 20 Days of Mariupol is the frontrunner to win the Oscar.

It was losing steam unfortunately. At least it got the Screenplay nod. But still, Portman, Moore, and Melton all deserved nominations.

I enjoyed Nyad. Do I think it’s Oscar worthy? I’m not unhappy to see Foster & Bening here but I do think there are better performances this year in better films. I would put Greta Lee in Actress & Claire Foy in Supporting Actress.

As shocked as I was by the Greta Gerwig & Margot Robbie exclusion… they are included as producer for Margot & screenplay for Gerwig. Both of those categories the strongest reason why the film got made in the first place so kudos to them for that + overall 8 nominations. Barbie has been winning over the season so it hasn’t been snubbed at all. Well done Barbie. 👏
Over the moon for Cillian Murphy & Oppenheimer. It’s rare your favourite film gets nominated let alone 13 times. I hope it sweeps ❤️
I’m gutted some films weren’t recognised like All Of Us Strangers, Saltburn (at least for cinematography) & The Iron Claw. But overall really impressed by this years lineup. Go Oppenheimer 😃
