Whats with the obsession of bike manufacturers for bigger powerful engines. Any bike over 500 cc becomes way too much to handle for the average indian bike rider. Our roads are also not suited for such high speed bikes.
Itvhas nothing to do with Indian roads . I find this comment " Indian roads " extremely vague. Go anywhere in the world ( and having lived abroad for an extensive period of time) big engine motorcycles are a complete waste anywhere because in cities you can not take them above 2-3 gear... Go to a highway / expressway you have a speedlimit to stuck to... Apart from Germany where you can just go for it... Stick to med size engines and have best of both worlds, which hive you ( for most people) enough power n performance
@@sandeepsandhu4286 Even if we take indian roads out of consideration, a majority of bike riders do not prefer more than 500cc since they are very heavy and controlling them at the max power requires proper training. Also in city commute most of the power is wasted. The engine of these 1000cc bike heats up a lot in slow moving traffic conditions since there is not much airflow cooling the engine.
@@mihirchitnis905 Agreed.. And I am not saying anything you didn't say... We Indians love to slap our conditions not knowing grass on the other side is not exactly greener... The only difference overseas is traffic is much better behaved and people follow rules which makes driving experience a little better
