I've been listen the album for five years, when I listen Blown a Wish, It make me so warmfull, which sounds like face warm freeze in spring vally/peak feeling, I don't know how to explain that feeling further more, it's like a lullaby
I once played a MBV tribute show in Seattle with thirteen other bands in 2000, and it was a night I’ll never forget. We played Sometimes (such a beautiful song) and No More Sorry (from their other great Isn’t Anything album). Their music is do soothing in it’s own unique way, especially these two songs.
Irish scientist J D Bernal has suggested that music can express emotions language is incapable of articulating. The fact that I can't describe exactly how these two tracks make me feel, other than to say that the latter brought me to the point of tears for no reason I can think of, would seem to support that assertion.
There's a few live videos from them playing back then and they had a special strumming technique where they would strum while holding the whammy bar so when the pic hit the strings at the same time the whammy bar would go down making that swirling swooping sound.

Any chance you react to Slowdive's self titled album? That album is just fantastic. Also, My Bloody Valentine's second album, mbv, is even better in my opinion. Would love to see you check it out as well.
