I believe in the lord but voodoo is also very real. My moms best friend practices and that lady is very nice until you cross her. I’ve seen some pretty unexplainable shit in my life. Christianity will have you believe everything is either black or white but a hell of a lot falls in the gray area. I also believe there’s a little Magic in everyone because anyone can harness the power of suggestion. All you have to do is tap into it and let yourself be open. I can tell you from experience that magic and suggestion are very powerful things and go hand in hand. I can’t tell you the impossibly amazing things I’ve had happen to me due to just being open to what I’m putting out there. Even today for example. An African witchdoctoress summoned a spirit to my Father in law when he went hunting in Africa in 2000. He said both her/him/ and 4 servants saw a black shadow appear in a tree just outside their camp after dark. This thing comes to the village over there from time to time. The people fear the Witchdoctoress (I don't know if that's her real title)... as she always has 4 massive African hunters with her from an unknown tribe. Interesting stuff. She always knows when it is coming.... no local tribe members want to go anywhere near that thing.
Why did it visit them. Apparently she told him he has "Two Hearts"... not literally, but in the sense that when fear approaches people handle it in different ways. With him, he just remains remains extremely calm. He verified this with another story he told me.... which I swear to god there is no point telling as no-one would believe me anyway, but it deserves its own movie.... anyway...He remembers she grabbed his wrist when they were looking at it...presumably so she could get his pulse. He was encouraged to stay in Africa from here...as she WARNED him of coming back to the USA... in short... he basically said she warned him of 911. Not specifically, but when it happened...everything she said made sense to him... He was in Arizona when it happened anyway so he was not effected. Gotta say, he is a down to Earth guy, that flat out doesn't lie. He has told me this story a few times over the years now...and I always try to see if he changes anything. So far; I believe every word.
