If it had been badged as a Lancia as it should have been, I’d definitely have bought one. But had no interest in a Chrysler badged Lancia and seemed a difficult faff to change it back to what it should have been.

It was flawed & far too expensive. Fiat marketed it as a "prestige" motor, as they did with all of Chrysler's rebadged Lancia's , and whilst the Lancia badge holds some prestige, the Chrysler one certainly does not. I loved the Lancia Delta, & had it been marketed as a Lancia in RHD markets I would have bought one, but as a Chrysler - no thanks. I bought a Fiat Bravo instead (the car the Delta was based on)

I would say the Chrysler voyager was always considered to be a premium mpv and it sold pretty well and the same can be said about the 300c, not forgetting the crossfire. I think the delta and ypsilon where to obviously not chrysler designed cars and that may have played a part.

I agree 100%. It was such a shame. A typical Fiat group mistake. It would have been even better with the pre-facelift proper Lancia grille.

@@andyt8216 SO TRUE. It is obligatory to change the front grille, making it a proper Lancia with upright stripes
