Because of your videos I'm shooting a Fabarm Elos B2 20ga and TSS. This season so far I've knocked down 2 for 2 wild pheasants at 40 yards with hand loaded TSS 1oz #9 1150 FPS with an IC choke. It's been an incredible combination! The only downside is you need to really be careful to find all the #9 pellets in the meat. I agree, #7 1/2 might be better if anything just to make them easier to find them. In the end #9's have made a clean kill without ruining the meat even as close as 40 yards so it's hard to complain, but I might switch to #7-1/2 after I've shot all my #9's.

Is that a 1 ounce custom load like your last video with 1-oz, 8-shot Apex TSS or is it their standard 3/4oz load?
1 oz. #7-1/2.
Excellent shot. Do you prefer the 7.5 or 8 shot for wild pheasant? They both look more than lethal.
