- This is an infinite comparison video of the lap times of the cars at the Nurburgring. From slowest to fastest.
Nürburgring Nordschleife is the most dangerous and popular race track. It tests the fastest cars in the world. At the same time, slow ordinary cars also drive there.
In this car comparison video you will see all these cars. For example: Ford Transit, Opel Zafira OPC, BMW M4 Competition, Radical SR8 LM, Porsche 911 GT2 RS MR and many other slowest and fastest cars at the Nurburgring.
‼️ It is possible that some lap times may be inaccurate or out of date. Also, inaccuracies can be in the horsepower of cars.

The fact that a Camaro and an Alfa Romeo Sedan can outperform the Ford GT, a Pagani, Bugatti and 2 Koenigseggs around the nurburgring is just mind blowing to me

The transit van one was in a top gear episode when jeremy did under 10 minutes with a diesel jag with sabine schmitz and she said "i do that with a van" and she went around the ring with a transit with a little bit of weight reduction in over 10 minutes

Tesla actually never finished a full lap, they did runs in sectors and then combined the time, problem is EV engine overheats and brakes are falling so that time isn’t acceptable by my standards

They ran a full uninterrupted lap weeks after trying the ring on public track days in segments. It was done in segments because of traffic. Not because of thermals.
Anybody can find this info online. Nurburgring certified their full lap run. If you don’t trust the time, you shouldn’t trust any time in this video.

So the regular Murcielago LP640 is 2 seconds faster than the LP670 SV according to this video. This makes no sense at all

A lot of track times have to do with the driver and their nerve.
Track conditions, traffic, driver skills, climate, etc...

Pretty sure that 7:40.60 is for the old Ford GT from 2005, not the latest one from 2017. The car that was faster around VIR than a Porsche 918 cannot be slower around the ring than a bloody Megane.

Compared to the Megan, the Ford GT has never driven an official record lap. The only times I could find for the 2017 Ford GT are BtG (Bridge to Gantry) times from private drivers

I’m surprised of all the corvettes the C5 Z06 isn’t on here. The C5 Z06 achieved a time of 7:56 and was the first production car to achieve a sub 8!lap time(keep in mind that was on 20 year old tires and suspension, and a standing start). A forum member claimed 7:40 was achieved with modern tires and suspension.

@@devandrasimanjuntak1646 Well, kinda… it wasn’t bone stock and the lap was unofficial. I looked it up and it chassis number 000055. It says the car had some chassis modifications to increase the cars rigidity and an aluminum rollcage. It also says they “tweaked the exhaust”. I couldn’t tell you what that means. So by my understanding it’s a next to stock car that unofficially did sub 8s in the 90s. That’s very impressive, personally I love the vettes but I got nothing but respect to that GTR.

@Levario Jones what? 7:56 is accurate and 7:40 was claimed by a forum member, not me and that was on 15 year newer tires and modern suspension. I already clarified I don’t know the most of the R33. I didn’t claim any time or specs about it, the website I seen did.
@Levario Jones unless you have evidence on the contrary… I think my display of evidence greatly demonstrates what each car had done and how it was done to achieve such lap times 18+ years ago. If you believe my information is poor or I don’t research then you do your own, dispute my point, and then it’d decide who is correct. At least that’s respectable

Bugatti cars are not made to race on a circuit. They are really slow on tracks due to weight and little downforce

I'm actually surprised the GTR is so high up considering how old it is, it just shows how great the car actually is

Reporters have proven that nissan times is a lie. The car is not exceptional and everyone has known it for 10 years. Moreover nissan even deleted the videos because they were accelerated. It's been more than 10 years, it's crazy not to know that!

For the simple and good reason that the times are wrong and it was a French car tester who proved it with a pro driver, one of those who won the gte pro this year. Moreover it is thanks to this journalist that nissan organized a full day with journalists from all over the world, in particular with this journalist and the car never took the time knowing that the gtr presented was the one that will be called gtr 2011 which will run in the faked video in minus 7.20 to be in fact almost 7.50. I saw the video of the Viper setting 7:01.3 and the ACR is definitely a sub 7 minute car. That platform is INSANELY good, the engine can handle thousands of horses for drag racing and is a track monster as well? Those Dodge engineers are something else

Porsche is the king of the ring. When you have the best steering, braking and chassis balance that will happen.
I think Niki Lauda drove a lap just under 7 mins in the 1975 German GP here which would put a 1975 F1 car above everything here, since the track back then also included over half of Nürburgring (modern GP circuit connected to the Nordschleife) + the Nordschleife all the cars test on. Impressive car really, the Ferrari 312T.
Above Porsche 919 evo are you sure? This LMP1 based prototype has no restrictions it did Spa francorchamps faster than the F1 2018 record, also achieved +220mph on straight. You gonna need a F1 without restrictions to go faster than that, but it would never survive all the bumps of the green hell!

THE DRIVER MATTERS. Look at how many cars over or underperfom. A great driver could make 10+ seconds of a difference
A car cannot over-perform. It can drive to its limit which is what a good driver will do. But most drivers racing on this track are professionals I don’t think they’d let just anyone race their very expensive cars

Just wanted to point out the Ford GT (second gen) has never done and official lap record attempt by all means. A club sport team attempted it multiple times including using the the Ford of Europe GT but no official times should be used to this day. I hope they attempt one for the last year of production though (2022).
Great video, one of a kind! That 7:45-7:30 range is not what you'd expect at all, I'm pretty sure that was just a parade lap with the Ford GT, it's one of the most capable track cars out there, it should be right up there with the 488 Pista and the 720s.

The Renault was purpose built for the nurburgring but the others were designed to be more comfortable for every day use.

I myself take the Bugatti Veyron ss as a proof that if a car fast at straight line doesnt mean it fast at track.
Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. I mean the Veyron SS has a 1/4 mile time of 9.9 Seconds and a goddamn Dodge Demon can run it in 9.5 seconds. Crazy to think about but that's about all the Demon is good at xd

If you paid 1$ more you get a factory drag pack. This includes a bunch of things like tyres and such from factory.
Then you should get the factory weight reduction which makes it so you only have a driver seat.
Then ou need to switch it to 100 Octane Fuel and switch the car into drag mode.
Last but not least you have to go to a prepped Drag Strip.
You have to make no modifications to the car and from factory it can run 9.5 seconds 1/4 miles.
It is actually banned in the US from drag racing bevause it is under 10 seconds and doesn't have a rollcage

I don't know if much can be taken from this as there are clearly either errors or the comparisons are not like for like. The Mclaren 650s spider was 7 seconds slower than the car it replaced apparently. The Nissan GTR R35 with 555hp is listed at 7:36 and the 2009 480hp version at 7:26. Either there are errors, some of these laps are in the wet or they aren't official times.
could be that those cars are lighter and handle better. hp isn’t always the only reason for faster laps but idk

Well, Porsche's engineers said in a video that the car that broke the record is based on the lmp1 car but with some improvements that would be illegal in the lmp1 class to make it even more powerful and fast. There is an interesting documentary about this car here on CZcams

-It didnt have perfect conditions. Decent at best, they even said they could run a faster lap, if everything worked out perfectly.

I'd finally want to know the McLaren P1 time as back in the day they claimed "Did we beat the 7 minute round the Ring? Yes, of course." but never revealed the time. I don't know if that was a bluff or what. I totally believe P1 is capable of sub 6:50 though.
McLaren not publishing it was sorta a protest against listing Nordschleife laps as a performance benchmark. The amount of rule-bending and general fuckery that goes into what constitutes a 'production car' and what constitutes a 'lap' when setting them records is quite extreme. It's marketed as what a car is capable rolling off the production line and onto the track and that's just far from truth.

@@yousef.al-assaf still my statement stands, like the machenical tech to make the bugatti and its straight line speed, the track performance of the new Porsche GT3 with just 510 Hp compared to every thing else, the performance of the renault megane hatchback being faster than supercars. There's more impressive cars here in my opinion, the AMG BS is great nonetheless, better than most cars

You pay so much for 911, that's what you get.
If you looked at the prices you’d realise the fact those 2 cars are even being compared says a lot about the Corvette.
