This machine is a technical badass. It has completely changed the way qe do laundry 1 thing is no more rewashing the clothes from forgetting to put em in the drier. All that kind of crap Energy savings is awesome too.
I went with the LG heat pump combo washer dryer. Cleaning the lint filter was a breeze and it's not as massive in weight despite having 5.0 capacity. Very quiet as well with its direct drive motor.
Like you I thought probably we’d get a second one but after having it for eight months I realized it’s so efficient that my laundry is doing itself. For the first time ever I am never never never behind. There are days now that I don’t have any laundry to do. I don’t have a schedule anymore, I just pick a full basket and toss it in and push play and walk away, come back later and it’s ready to put away. Empty the lint, wipe the gasket if needed, and if I have another full basket I throw it in and might leave it tumbling for hours on wrinkle care and come back to fluffy dry laundry. I have my life back, and wasn’t that the whole purpose of modern appliances?
Thank you for the great review Hopefully the companies will keep improving these machines. For me it’s got to be reliable being over 2k let us know how it does in a couple of years
Nothing like the toasty hot dry feeling of a dedicated drier. Personally I'll stick to the old way with 2 separate machines. If I ever feel the need to save space I'll go with GE's stack which is still 2 separate units but they're just on top of one another stacked. Thank you for making this video though appreciate the honest review and how this leaves your clothes damp it's not my cup of tea if you know what I mean.
I have this machine, it makes your laundry every bit as toasty warm as an old fashioned dryer. It’s actually better because if you don’t get your laundry out right away and use the wrinkle care setting they will tumble gently every few minutes and remain warm and fluffy with no wrinkles. There isn’t damp laundry, it’s just a small humidity that escapes the second the clothes come out this is actually great because it keeps your clothes from being ruined by baking in an old fashioned dryer.

Everytime I wash clothes and empty out the lint catch, I use a swifter duster to get back in there to get the lint out. It works really well.

We just got one also about a month ago, we love it! I did order the brushes from the GE Site to help clean inside the lint.

Have you tried a crevice tool on the vacuum hose ? That may help.

I agree. Also, the dry time on these machines is very long.
Your washer and dryer is loud because you did not takeoff both of the racks in the back
